    Project: Starter Guide

I've always wanted to work on the perfect guide for new players. When I originally got into bg-wiki this is the platform I wanted to do it on. I like the idea of having the entire database available for easy linking.

The purpose of the guide would be to so detailed, user-friendly, and efficient that it would obsolete any other generic purpose guide. Guides for FFXI either useless(hurr durr Offficial print guides) or in obscure spots such as a sticky on a forum. Imagine how much easier would getting into FFXI be if there was one very useful guide with widespread popularity. Being on the internet rather than print, it could constantly be updated.

Having such a guide on bg-wiki would increase the use of bg-wiki and I think would become a centerpiece of its utilities.

    Are there any thoughts?

I think that would be a good idea. A nice central location to get new users up and running would be nice.
