I just bought mine, free shipping. It'll be here on Oct. 23rd. (:
I still have another year and a half on my current contract before I can even think about upgrading to a new one. My Sidekick LX hasn't had any issues yet, so I can't really complain. :3
I'm stuck with verizon as well, they only offer expensive crappy phones and service.
I love how every new phone wants to take on the iPhone. Blackberry is the big dog in the market. Why fight over a small piece of the pie?
Blackberry can still fuck up every now and again. Just look at the Blackberry Storm. Then again, the Storm is exclusive to Verizon. :\
The focus of a blackberry is not application use and production while the focus of the iPhone and Android are. It's a totally different perspective, you don't have to compete with Blackberry because they aren't competitive they're just simple devices that have an OS and the capabilities it supports, while the iPhone and Android are geared towards application development and innovation in the field of mobile apps.
My contract with T-Mobile is up in November, and I am currently using their shitty MDA that runs Windows Mobile. I fucking hate this phone.
Naturally, I took them up on their upgrade offer since I was eligible.
I already have an iPod Touch and live in an area where there is always a wifi connection wherever I go, so I don't need an iPhone.
I think this works out well for me.
