[Carbuncle] Iskendar (bc)

Right so he was on Ramuh before he moved to Carbuncle ... didnt want to write this in the title since it will be a bit confusing then I guess ^^ So if some Ramuh peeps read this I would love to get opinions from them as well

Got WAR, PLD, NIN, THF and BLM at 75. His last LS (or current d/k) was Aftershock where he is/was the leader.
Since we have some peeps from Carbuncle in our LS we got the feedback (and its also stated in his apply) that this LS is kinda hated.

I would like to know things bout the LS but over that for me its more important to get info bout the person itself, Iskendar.

I knew Iskendar for a while. Was in CAE and Aftershock with him. Very talented player who knows what he is doing on each job. More importantly a very mature player, which surprisingly is very hard to come by these days. Having him in your LS would definitely be a huge assest.

I knew Isk both on Ramuh and Carby was in both CAE and Aftershock with him. He is a good, mature player who would be an asset to any shell in which he became a member. He can play any of his mentioned jobs exceptionally well and they are all geared for endgame use.

As to the mild drama of Aftershock on carby, it was never his intention nor intent to cause any of it. He did his best as LS leader to work with other LS'es on dyna schedules etc, but received little to no help in return. Hence drama ensued, when 1 or 2 LS'es book norhtlands for 6 months and are unwilling to trade......... heh can only do so many city runs.

I've known Isk for a long time. I've played with him on both servers. He is an excellent player and gives 110% all the time. He is a good person all around. He did lead Aftershock when he was around. While I was on Carby his playtime wasn't so great with going to school and being in HST while the majority of his ls was CST/EST.

Regardless, he would be a good addition to any LS he goes to.

Iskendar happened to lead an LS that was hated on Carbuncle. I know for a fact that I disliked Aftershock myself, but only because of certain people who have since quit or server transferred. I rarely saw Iskendar at HNM camps, and I'm going to go out on a limb that he wasn't the cause of most of the drama that came out of Aftershock. He seemed like an okay fellow to me from the one or two run-ins I had with him, but that's just my perspective.

I have played with Iskendar for over 2 years, both on Ramuh and came with him to Carby. He is one of the most skilled players I've ever met and always quick to answer questions or help. As for Aftershock, one of the big problems was the clash of cultures from Ramuh to Carby. We did have a few members that did not play well with others but Iskendar usually ended up having to be the diplomat and demoted or removed those members with bad attitudes (and all ls have them at some point).

Aftershock got a lot of bad press, but mostly because Iskendar didn't want to perpetuate the drama and fire back or talk in say at camps as nothing would be gained.

Overall I would vouch for both his character and skill as well his love of pandas.

Iskendar is a stand up guy. I was in CAE on Ramuh as well as Aftershock on Carbuncle with him. When the true LS leaders were too lazy/didn't care to lead thier LS he stepped up and ran the show for them, for no benefit. He was a good leader and a good friend and his views on people never swayed reguardless of the trash talking from others. He is a very solid player. His playtime was low because of school and work which is no fault of his but when he was off he was at every event he could possibly make.

As for Carbuncle drama, it was there from the minute word got out about a new HNMLS in the mix. Most endgame Carby kids are disgustingly self righteous even if their skill is subpar, which most suffer from. Reguardless of how much we tried to make things correct, some sort of snide remark/ insult came from it negating any desire to fit in. After a while you get to the point of not wanting to and just do what you want because there will be the same outcome either way. Carby seems stuck in High School drama mode. But in their defense Aftershock did have a few jerkoffs that brought down the opinion of the LS inside and out.

I've known Isk back from Ramuh, followed him over to Carby to join the new LS that he was making. Isk is a great guy and plays well with others. Good team player and Leader as well. Any job I have seen him on he plays very skillfully and makes sure they are well equipped. He's even helped me straighten out my gear issue XD. Aftershock is probably not the favored ls on the server, things got blown out of proportion and diffrent cultures clashed. But if there was an issue isk was more then diplomatic with the other ls's to try and straighten things out and negotiate. Dynamis shells would have outlands "Reserved" 6 months out and no one was willing to negotiate, so i am sure that caused a stir.
