I wasn't necessarily targeting this update in general, I just love how random things get broken. IE: Wyvern breaths broken last update when nothing was changed on DRG directly. i laughed more than I should have at the global variables comment. I followed in with a sigh realizing how nerdy I really am ...

Granted the first 2 of those affected less people than fleezurka but they were still more broken.

it's almost as if FFXI is completely coded in spaghetti script, that's the only logical explaination i have. very careless, they're like high school amateur script kiddies but paid a corporate salary...

TP nerf that allowed next to unlimited WS.

I'm going with this. I remember when dynamis first came out and monks could asuran fist nonstop, and for decent damage too. And when they rushed to nerf tp gain from weapon skills to fix it there were some pretty awesome glitches. I remember I watched a video of a sam using his 2 hour and then performing 8+ ws.

Those days were fun.

That's easy, a few updates back they made it so anyone with a certain type of dual core processor was running permanent speed hack. SE really is...wow.

Not really broken, but made me lol hard: When something messed up with Opo-Opo crowns, and a lot of bards threw them away, only to find it patched a few days later

What about when Recycle was broken in this past couple weeks, and it proc'ed 95% of the time.

I know it's not nearly as good as our old "Full tp on multihit ws" or the 1:1 ratio on str att and dex acc.

Hell, come to think of it. SE basically screwed every single update in some way, shape or form. Must be easy having that job, expecting to screw something up and nothing will happen. Beta testers! Who needs Beta testers! /applypatch.

reminds me of the stories i heard about using relic knuckles w/ asuran fists. getting like 13% tp or more per hit of the 8 hits, you could chain WSes on a mob indefinitely. was before my time though.

That was awesome. I wish they'd change it back to that so there was a reason to use aoe WSes. As it stands, the only one I use now is Shockwave in Campaign. With that kinda TP return it would be fun to spam it to attempt to keep everything slept. :D

I found the 'patch' that broke Aura steal pretty bad. Especially since I remember 2/3rd of my LS d/cing in a ks99 because of it. That's an OSHI~ moment if any.
