Compiling a list of NPC prices for all Items...

I am adding the values as I go but there are only so many items a lonesome mage like me can gather.

NPC Price recorded - Jeuno/Tavnazia/Aht Urghan, Max Fame prices only

Values on Site:
-1 = Unknown
0 = Cannot NPC
>0 = NPC buy price with Jeuno Max Fame

Reason of creating this list:
1. I want a place when I can do a "Ctrl-F" to find the item I want instead of clicking and running a search on every item of interest on Wiki.

2. To boot, those values on other Wiki come in a range and reflects all fame levels across all zones which is pretty useless to me when I need the exact amount I can sell an item for.

3. The multipliers for other fame levels and zones can be added later. I am using this price as the base for the multipliers.

Just nit picking i guess, but will a max fame home nation sell for more to a NPC? If it would maybe including that also would be good

I've always wanted a list like that, though I'd rather have a text file than a HTML page.

If I were making it, I'd leave off the stuff that you'd never vendor (RSE, bookshelves, AF... just picking the first few things that catch my eye). Just keep the stuff you might get as drops and have to decide if it's worth holding onto to vendor or if you should just drop it.

Its just html tables. Looks formatted from the source code, so he probably used a script to generate the results.

I have a list pen & paper style of vendorable goods for fast farming spots, this seems abit excessive to have artifact and other non-sellable items listed under the obvious, aside weapons which, vendorable or not under r/x can be confusing.

If you were looking to trim it down for personal use, why not just write down where you stand to turn profit or not, one list for items sellable high to vendor, one for vendor buyable low and auctionable high.

I made a program to do that for me on my own system. The html is just for public reference and is also generated by that program. I will be using this program to do some other item referencing stuff, so I will not be filtering it to make it smaller. You can however freely use the data to do whatever you like, to make the lists that are relevant to you perhaps. I could keep this solely for personal use but I see no harm in releasing a more general list for everyone.

I have an XML file that contains the same data. If someone will like to code a web-page to extract info from it or to host a database that can import the data, feel free to get it from me. I have no problems compressing it either but I don't see the point yet given it's current rather sparse and incomplete stage.

And max fame home nation sells for 2% more than max fame Jeuno. This percentage is exact and constant for all items so there is no need to keep multiple records of the pricing.

The list of items is originally from www.ffrecipe.com. I just tagged on the NPC pricing and reformatted their data dump somewhat.

As for the server, it doesn't serve any advertisements. It just adds some html code and a link to the bottom of every page I place on it. I like it because it is free and I can ftp into it.

There are also some weird variations in prices with Aht Urgan drops, they seem to npc for more in their areas i.e.: Imp Wings are 15 gil in sandy or jeuno (max fame), but 18 gil in Al Zahbi, same slight variations for colibri beaks and feathers, an probably more.

I've been keeping track of prices myself for a while, but I don't have a good place to host the data. I've noticed the following pattern:

• I should have max fame in all areas
• Seems A: Al Zahbi == Bastok [S] == San d'Oria [S] == Windurst [S] == Tavnazian Safehold == Whitegate
• Seems B: Bastok == San d'Oria == Windurst
• Seems C: Jeuno - Neptune's Spire - Ghebi Damomohe
• Seems B pays floor( 1.02*A )
• Seems C pays floor( 1.025*A )
• Not sure about normal Jeuno, since I always sell at Neptune's Spire when there.
