Interplay back in business and announces Fallout MMO!
[link deleted]
As the OP says upon bethesda purchasing the fallout license to make fallout 3, gave interplay the cash to come back and the rights to produce a fallout MMO, more details in the article.

I have no faith in any company being able to maintain an international mmorpg with the type of content it would need to have to be as awesome as fallout 1 or 2
there would be so much backlash, unless they made it 18+ or something

Banned.
In unrelated news, a new phenomenon has left the medical community utterly perplexed. Dozens of young male adults have been found dead in their homes. In every case the victims were found sitting down in front of their computers and each member was a member of a Fallout fansite named NMA-fallout.com. Cause of death hasn't been confirmed, but popular theory says "Nerve Ending Rage Decompression". If the theory is true this would be the third time this year NERD has appeared. NERD has gained new infamy after it was discovered to be the cause of death in the "Bolts and Nuts" and "Halo 3 most innovative game of the year" cases.
