I heard about this a while back from my manager friend that works for Gamestop. They're included in the download that's already part of the Kratos code, it includes everything.

Well I have the Kratos code but I want the Nariko one from BestBuy... however I went to their site and it doesn't even mention anything about the code...
Does it have to be at their B&M stores or can you actually order online?
I think it is the B&M stores only. I never got around to doing it and at this point I almost don't even care. I MAY do it tomorrow since Toys R Us is pissing me off with Dead Space.
They have pretty good deals from time to time and this week its buy 2 get 1 free.
Also new rewards program like bestbuy's little member card thing. Unfortunately its only $5 gift cards every 150 dollars spent, but i guess its a good deal for the fruegal XD
Gamestop needs to get one for new games, I spend like 3 grand there a year.
Got It ^-^, its so much fun, some levels to 100% will require a second person
Or a second controller =P
so you can just preorder from BestBuy and get refund when the game comes out? They won't ask you questions or anything? I might just do that if so D:
You're way too late by now if you wanted to get Best Buy's preorder item. You're better off just ordering from Gamestop and taking what you can get at this point.
I actually just preordered from Best Buy yesterday. I went to GS afterward and they said that they still have Kratos code as well, so if it's as easy as that, I might as well preorder from GS and do the refund thing
Gamestop doesn't typically refund preorder deposits. They'll let you transfer it to something else, but not refund it.
umm no, they have to let you refund it, if you paid cash they have to give you cash back. only time they wont give you cash back is if its been a really long time since you preordered it or something, which is either 6months or 1year+
People still pay for things in cash?
Apparently, a lot of Wal-Marts and Targets have the "recalled" versions on their shelves selling it today. I'm so tempted to go get it but I don't want it getting bricked. :\
I spoke to my friend that's a manager at Gamestop today and was told that it was a forced recall. I don't think they'll be patching the game, so I'd just avoid it and buy it when the game actually releases.
There's no way Sony would cause it to not work in any way. Any customer who unknowingly goes into a store and buys it without knowing about the delay isn't gonna get shit on like that. Saying that is about as stupid as people saying you can get banned for playing online on games that aren't quite out yet (leaked versions out weeks before the actual game is a completely different story, but even then I don't think there's been any cases of banning/bricking/whatever for that), you can't be blamed for a store putting stuff out early on the shelves.
In b4 I'm dead wrong and none of the recalled versions work.
I have to agree with ya Kiarax. Also there is this quote from the Media Molecule site:
That tells me that MM realizes that early copies are already out there being played and will be patching them. So, if you want it that bad, may as well get it. Worst case... sell that thing on Ebay? Though, given that a patch sounds like it is coming for early copies, that just seems silly to me. Either way, I don't see Sony or MM leaving all the un-recalled versions out there untouched or useless. Some of you have asked about pre-orders and early copies. Everything should remain as before - you will get your exclusive pre-order content, we’ll go on patching the game, and everything will work as if none of this had ever happened! I think in the end, everyone will be happy.
