Yeah, I know. But hey, for every new I got it post, you can feel the sad, and I'll be the rage. We'll almost have a full spectrum of emotions then!

Anyone know if the codes can be used multiple times? I was told that each code can be used up to 5 times, which is unlikely, but awesome if it's true. I'll trade someone a Kratos for Nariko if it'll work.
Well the "5 times" thing is something that gets a bit confused.
In general, with downloaded/purchased content you can share it with up to 4 other users. For example, a friend of mine purchased Siren. He can provide his login info (email+password) and I could create a second Master Account on my PS3 with that info. I could then login as him and download the Siren pack. It is a shifty little loophole in the PSN at the moment. So after I have downloaded Siren, that is 2 PS3s that have it. 3 more unique PS3s could then do the same.
With the Kratos code, i don't know that this will work. The code itself will surely only work once, but as far as sharing the actual download, I don't know.
I will say Rokku, that having the guide is nice... but I don't want to ruin any of the levels after Garden for myself -.- I DO like how they show you the entire level in its created form. You can see how they rigged up the falling bridge + moving Checkpoint in the first level for example. I also liked the Conveyor Belt creation that they tell you how to make.
I was kind of surprised that the materials and objects don't have their own section, but rather are just listed very basically at the start of each level/area's walkthrough.
It can only be used for a single PSN account, but can be downloaded up to 5 times on separate systems. Meaning if you log your account onto a friend's system, you can download the content off your account and onto his system. I'd assume doing so would give everyone on the system access to the content, but idk for sure.
Every unique download eats up one of those credits, but it has to be downloaded using the same PSN ID. So you can't let someone else download it off your code, unless you're willing to let them log onto your PSN account on their PS3.
edit: Hot damn, beaten to the punch by a couple seconds.
Yeah, I found that that stuff was pretty interesting. Once you know the tools and how they look, it makes it really easy to look at those full scale edit mode images of the stages, and go "Oooooh, so that's how that works. So if I want to do this, I just rig this here, and do this..". I haven't read anything past the Gardens levels either, so I'm right there in the same boat with you.
Yeah, I was kind of disappointed by the lack of attention they gave a lot of the materials. There's a couple brief comments about each one, and if they can or can't be grabbed, but other than that, meh.I was kind of surprised that the materials and objects don't have their own section, but rather are just listed very basically at the start of each level/area's walkthrough.

Apparently the patch they did was just to add some extra content, the patch to allow the pre street date copies to connect to the servers and remove the song itself is still "to be announced" so to speak.
Actually, interestingly enough, I pulled up the info on the old LBP beta file, and apparently the way it works is, if the content is on that PS3, provided the user name and password of whoever paid for it is saved on the system, it's accessible.
This is just an observation from pulling up the info screen on a couple of items I've downloaded off the PSN, and they all say that in the scrolling text below some of the info.
I just got a call from gamestop and they said they were doing a midnight for LBP tomorrow night. Im gunna go there tomorrow morning while im out and see what the deal is ill report back here.
Yeah, not sure what is going on with my store. Been reading tons of posts about people getting the call... but my store still says the 28th. She also said it was "street dated" for the 28th so whatever. I will call them tomorrow, but it would be nice if i could pick it up before leaving downtown and going home -.-
I just got the pre-recorded message from Game Stop as well saying that LBP would be available for pick up on Saturday... Guess I'll call them and verify...
Edit: so I called the game stop I preordered it from and they said nupe their computer is showing it will be available on the 28th... the voice mail I have from Game Stop says the game will be available Saturday afternoon for pick up... I guess I'll have to call them tomorrow afternoon and see if it's available. /sigh
Verified over the phone and in store that LBP's street date was lifted and I could pick it up tomorrow morning.
Where at Tyche?
Just got home to find a recording from Gamestop as well, called the store and spoke with a different person who said "Yeah, that is what we hear!" So, fingers crossed that they get the shipment from Fed-Ex tomorrow. Yay.
I meant what business but i'll assume gamestop since thats what everyone else is talking about XD.
Wish my car wasnt a POS then i'd try to pick it up too after a few phone calls
Take a cab yo, or get someone to take you.
Great, they lift the street date and release it right in the middle of my work week. Tuesday would have been perfect as I have a three day weekend.
I got the call as well. Going to check first thing when they open.
