    2 Dvd burning questions^^;

    first off iam on vista x86 ultimate 3gigs ram 2.4ghz dual core processor.

    ok whenever i burn somthing it comes out out of sync thats with using Nero 7 Ultra Edition, roxio 8, and the crappy build in dvd burning softwhere vista comes with.I play around with the settings alot to try and fix it and i realy have no idea what iam doin and notings works.

    this happens when i burn pretty much anything weather its a standard 700mb movie or 2 tv shows to 1 dvd(about 700mb combind).like always comes out 3secs out of sync and no idea whats cuaseing it.

    ive tried buring less to them to bring up the quility and that dident work even 1 350mb tv show that was in sync comes out of sync after burning it.

    so if anyone can tell me how i can fix this i would realy appreciate it.

    second question is what is currently the best dvd burning software so maybe that will solve this problem?

    Are you using a very high burning speed? High speeds have the capability to lower burn accuracy and cause weird occurrences sometimes.

    This could actually be causing some of your problems. Using a lower burning speed to achieve higher quality is a myth, one that has been around since the early days of DVD-R burning (if not longer). Devices which are designed to run at high speeds won't function as efficiently at lower rates; you may be increasing your chances for bunk burns by doing it as slow as possible.

    If you have an older drive, it may be good to burn at a slightly lower rate. Let's say your max speed is 12x, and you're burning on cheap DVD-Rs. In that case, 10x or 8x might be a sweet spot, but 4x would be pointless. 2x, if your burner even allows it, can outright cause problems with most current-day media.

    Now, if you have a nice drive and quality media (Verbatim is one of the finest brands), burning at full speed should never cause you any problems.

    To reiterate, slow burning for better results is a myth. Don't consider that a troubleshooting method.
