It also won't produce anything for years and years, hell the oil companies aren't even using all the areas given to them under current laws, but the republican base dosen't care about lies when they like what they think it will mean.

That's because the land congress has given the oil companies has jack for supply. It's been proven that the major supply of our offshore oil lies within 50 miles of our borders. But they can't touch it due to the moratorium.

That's the main theme of his debate style.

Stress his experience. Talk about the troops in a warm narrative form (he's a former soldier so he will be more attuned to a soldier's vibe).

and

Fear-monger. Talk about Israel being threatend with extinction and perpetuate the (LIE)genocidal comments made by Ahmedinejad.

There's plenty of other lies McCain tells throughout the debate. Such as characterizing the conflict in Kosovo as a success and a prevention of GENOCIDE (which is an insult to the victims of REAL genocides and ethnic cleansings).

I expected Obama to win this hands down - since this format serves Obama better (he's a much better speaker). That being said, both candidates did very well.

This debate should have been about the economy. Both guys were too scared to come out with an opinion.
