Hello, I got a few question account reactivation.
For about 7 months ago, I reactivated my content ID since I wanted to take a break from the game. And for about 6 weeks ago, I wanted to come back and give it another try.
I went to the store and bought another copy of the game and spent a whole day installing it all over again. When I saw that my content ID was deleted so I decided to contact POL to have it reactivated again. I talked to one of the agents on the EU POL telling him I wanted my old account back. First of, the agent wasnt aware of that you can have your character restored uptil a year. I gave him all my account info and he said he would fix it.
After a week or so, I contacted POL again and this time, they said that I had wait another week and it would be fix within 10 days tops. Okey, now I was really looking forward to get my old character back.
Then, I waited 14 days and nothing happend. So I contacted POL again and this time, they told me to give all my account info all over again. I was starting to get a little mad when it had been taking so long time. And after a week, I got an email telling me this:
This mail is sent to those players who have requested character restoration for deleted characters in FINAL FANTASY XI. If you have no recollection of requesting this support, we apologize for any inconvenience this message may have caused, and ask that you please send a reply.

We were unable to restore the character in question for one or all of the following reasons:
-The requested character never existed.
→Please check the Character name, World name, and Deletion Date.
-Expiration of retention period since the character was first deleted.
→Please confirm the date and time of character deletion.
-The character requested did not exist on the Contents ID.
→If the character did not actually exist on the contents ID in question, we are unable to provide restoration services.
We are sorry that we were unable to restore your character in response to your application. It is possible to apply for character restoration services again. However we ask that you please check the reasons listed above.
If you wish to re-apply, we ask that you do not send the application through a reply to this mail, but through contacting the Play Online Information Center one more time.
Thank you for your continued usage of PlayOnline and Final Fantasy XI.
So, here I'm stuck with no character at all. I find this really outrageous and whenever I want to talk to an supervisor, there is no one responding. So much for playing the game since 2004 and get nothing in return. Two 75 jobs, COP, ZM, AF2, Crafting, Subs and everything is gone. How the hell can this happend?
This is a really horrible situation and I dont know what the hell to do. Has anyone else witness the same thing? And how did they eventually fix it?
