Nyzul Isle Emergency Maintenance

Last week, I submitted a GM call while doing Nyzul Isle to complain about some of these issues... A few minutes later, a GM sent me /tells asking me what the problem was. I made a few reply /tells to him but he never got them. He kept telling me to hit CTRL+R to reply to him (which ofcourse I knew and was doing); I even typed out /t *can't remember GM's name* to no avail. He spammed his CTRL+R message a few times then finally ended the call. A few minutes after all this took place (and Nyzul was still going on), I started getting the standard "person could not receive tell, try again" message for all the /tells I had sent him several minutes prior. I thought this was odd since usually that message occurs right after you send an unsuccessful /tell. The whole ordeal was very annoying...

Maybe the horrid drop rate on armor :/ 0/21 on Armor drops since the update ._.;

Or you know, we have made the Nyzul Gods angry and made it only rain COR weapons >.>; Which at this point seems likely :/

Our group has a steady diet of DNC COR THF BRD and RNG, haven't seen a single PLD ever after almost a year

The randomizer for those drops isn't very random

Now that you mention it, I did notice a few mobs running through the walls while pulling, which was slightly annoying.

Raining PUP, THF, SAM, and WHM here. We have gotten a few random weapons here and there, but the noticible rare ones at the moment are RDM, BLU, PLD, BRD, DRG, and BLM. We have gotten 1 BRD and 1 PLD (yay for me!), ever. All RDM drops have been forced at floor 100.

I know it's kinda funny, but we seriously need a DRG to drop atm. Our static member with DRG leveled is going to be pissed if they have to finish leveling their disk to 100 and then come as DRG to a 100 run instead of BRD. >_>

my group did nyzul yesterday and we had a soulflayer boss spammed Sleepga 2 back to back (as if he chainspelled it) called a GM after the run said there wasn't a problem

Yeah, have not gotten any BST drops either. I know a few members are leveling it, but it isn't on the 'Goddamn it to hell where the shit is my drop!?!' list for us.

It was great at first, seriously. I have 3 SAMs spamming Rana --> Gekko SCs. Not much love for everyone else though...

I don't remember anything particularly off about Nyzle last night. Went in 4 times, cleared 3 runs no problem. We did kinda get a lot of PUP claws (3), but we got pretty varied other drops, including SAM, BRD, PLD, and RNG. Last time we went RDM, PLD, SMN, BLM, and WAR dropped. Eh...maybe the problem was that I had no problems? I was surprised those runs were so smooth considering my other track records with semi-pickup groups. Totally owned by All floors with Dahaks and Flayers and frogs and Spec with 5-6 Racing Chariots or whatever last week, lol.

Last night, in Nyzul Isle i got charmed then immediately uncharmed but could not engage for around 30sec with "you can not perform that action". So maybe they're fixing that too >_>

Just have someone cast Cure on you or something, it knocks that off. I kind of like that bug. >_____>

Manafont causes a mob to cast back to back, you just had bad luck that it chose sleepga 2. The GM was actually in the right that time.

I think he means it insta-casted Sleepga II like Chainspell speed, over and over.

We've been getting what seems to be normal, random weapon drops, but armor drops definitely do seem to be lower after the update. Since the update we've only gotten one drop, a Goliard head, which was on Sunday. We've done several other boss floors for nada.

isn't there a glitch where some nyzul mobs spawn with 1hp? I was on DRG/RDM on floor 33 and I pulled a Marid with Dia II and it one shotted him.

It's been that way since nyzul day one, I don't see why they would fix that now.

Manafont causes a mob to cast back to back, you just had bad luck that it chose sleepga 2. The GM was actually in the right that time.

Manafont doesn't reduce recast timers. Mobs might chain-cast spells when under Manafont, but never the same spell twice in a row, because they can't.
