Forget all FF remakes... remaking Legend of Dragoon would be the most epic game ever possibly re-created. I can't even envision how totally awsome a well done remake of that game could be.

I was one of those people who liked legend of dragoon alot more than FF7, played through legend of dragoon at least 5 times and each like was 50-60 hours loved that game.

I want a Suikoden VI (On PS3 since I don't have an XBox and, dunno if I want it lampooned into some Wii gimmick), but I'm leaning more toward Konami's announcement being a cross-platform Castlevania. It's been a couple years since the last one.

God I hope not, they've consistently shown that they cannot make a good 3D Castlevania, and I doubt a big cross platform release would be 2D

I've been waiting for a sequal since I first played LoD when I was super young, in that time I've already come up with most of a story for a sequel. It would be so easy to do, god.

a legend of dragoon remake would indeed own very much. bought a used copy of it a few weeks in near mint condition for 30 bucks. actually picked up that, ff9, parasite eve 1 and 2, and chrono cross all either in mint condition or near mint each for under 30 bucks ^^.

what i would like to see actually is sony release some of the games on ps3's PSN that are japan psn only atm. japan has arc the lad 1-3, xenogears, the ps1 lunar games,wild arms 2 and a pile of other great games that i'd love to see up for download on the psn for the US. (really i'd be happy with so much as least arc the lad collection and wild arms 2).

next week is gonna kick ass. a lot of nice things to look forward too. New episodes of terminator, heroes, and south park airing, and TGS as a nice little strawberry on top of that ^^.

So 12 new titles are announced and we hear people saying the entire announcement is worthless unless their favorite game gets a sequel? Before you defend yourself, what do you think "Or Bust", "Or GTFO" means?

And then you got talk of Remakes. Well, let's think for a moment what are the major complaints about sequels:
1) No gameplay advancement.
2) Only purchasing a graphical update
3) "Rehashan Gaems" / Lack of new ideas

Well, not only is that what you are getting with a remake, but those are the design goals of a remake.

So rather than get a new experience, people want to play the exact same game over again(with an extra dungeon and prettier colors) or they want to play sequels only. Capcom has caught on to this and disbanded Clover studios, then went on to make Megaman 9(Megaman 2 part 2) and remake RE0.
