All reserve stuff is kept in the computer systems at the store you reserve at, receipt isn't necessary. I'd just go back in and ask for a code, if they don't have any, ask them to find you one.Yup, you need to so you can get the code, you may have to call their corpate office just in case on monday, make sure you keep your reciept, idiots at gamestop dont keep up with shit excpet (izembo).
The code is online only like I said, its not something their offering inside the store which is why you have to provide an email address.

Just a small tid bit for the people looking foward to this game, I was lsitening to gamepsots weekly podcast and they had lark anderson on there. He's a reviewer for the site and he always does an excellent job on reviewing games I feel and he said dead space was his favorite game this year by far, played the PS3 version .This made me even more excited as I like how lark looks at games the same way I do and such.
PSW calls Dead Space "World's scariest game" they gave it a 9/10.

the game reviewed very well ime xcited for its release.
One more day, then freakout time with the speakers. EDIT: Word of mouth says that I won't be able to pick this up at gamestop tomorrow >_>; Not happy.
Is it wednesday yet?
It's not street dated, therefore the 14th is a ship date D: But I know like the commercial and shit says 10/14 I want it tomorrow too ;/
Managed my local game stop for 5 years, thats the shipping date, if you like feel free to call tomorrow when they open, now if its street dated like fable 2, fallout 3 or gears 2, it will arrive on the street dated shipping date, which means they over nite it or in most cases they ship it week early. So its been happening like that for way longer than a year lol. Izembo can back this up as well, he's worked there for some time now.
Well, I guess I dated myself (gogo being in movie/game business for 8+ years) but its only recently that I haven't been able to pick up a game dated as "In Stores" on the day that they said. In fact, why even give a date at all if you're not going to adhere to it. They might as well give it a street date as a Wednesday, and go against the system that's been in place for 20+ years. Movies/Games always release on Tuesdays, Theatrical Releases are always Fridays. Hell, I know of a few Blockbusters that can't get anything on time because they broke street date. Its bothersome knowing that I can't get my game that by EA itself is dated on their website for the game "In stores October 14th".
I'll end up getting it tomorrow, just probably not as early as I had planned, that or I'll cancel my reservation and Pick it up at Best Buy or Wallyworld.
It is lame they say in stores 10/14 I agree, im not sure what were arguing about but for the longest time (since 99 when I started at GameStop)unless a game was actualy street dated it was understood it would come out a day after the shipping date, which in about 95% of cases was wednesday, which for the longest time only madden, GTA and halo titles were street dated. Then in 06 it got to the point where AAA titles would be street dated and would either be midnighted or sold on street date "tuesday". Both Best Buy and walmart wont have it till wednesday as well, but happy hunting, hope you enjoy the game.
Funny thing site says in stores tomorrow, and its tuesday now.
