I was pretty thorough (I think I missed only 3 logs), and it took me about 12 hours on Medium.

Bought it on Friday, feels like I'm playing a futuristic BioShock. The resemblances are everywhere to me. Anyways, it's a great game. Not as "scary" as I had hoped for, but I still had a few "oh fuck balls" moments.

This game was most definitely OFF my radar up until the end of last week. I ended up buying it cause of friend's recommendations, and I most definitely do not regret it. This is, in my opinion, what Resident Evil 4 tried to be but failed. Don't get me wrong, RE4 was the shit...but nothing much as far as fear factor-

Currently on Chapter 5 on hard (first playthrough) and I have most definitely had my share of freakish moments LOL

Just finished Dead Space finally, really enjoyed it, definitely one of my favorite games now, only thing is the final boss felt pretty easy i was expecting more.
I also enjoyed hearing that recording from Neuman, the main character from the animated comics, wish there were more recordings like that.

Well im onl on chapter 3 currently, and I have probably about 5 hrs into it already, I play it at a slower pace mostly so I dont miss anything, I inspect every inch of the levels and well because shit is popin outta no where and I want to be prepaired. As well as been playing resistance 2 beta,mlb playoffs, college football and pro football. SO far this is the best game Ive played all year and easily one of my favorite games. Just hope I dont get to finish it because fable 2, spiderman and far cry 2 come out this week ;x

I'm happy with it too. I don't regret buying it, but you definitely could finish it in a rental. I just wish I had more time to finish off Maxed Out and Impossible, but I'm in the same boat as Kyo. Too many games, too little time!

Im going to get to finish it, just dunno when, even tho its an amazing game, gunna be getting 9 titles in the next 3 weeks so gunna be a while to finsih tem all off lol.

This showed up yesterday from Gamefly and I love it! So many small, seemingly minor gameplay mechanics just make this an awesome game. The aesthetics are perfect! I normally can't handle horror games (not sure what happened, i guess i just wimped out at some point in my gaming life lol) but this one is somehow different. Don't get me wrong, it is DEFINITELY scary as hell... but I can't stop playing it.

I love how the AI on the enemies works... there may be something behind you, but unlike most games they don't just come tearing after you, howling and clawing. Instead it is pretty much an AI thing where they don't really charge you (or make much noise) UNTIL you turn around and have them mostly in your field of vision. Then it is Oh HAI!

That makes for some serious shit-your-pants moments.

I haven't had much time to play it so far (only play in the evening!), but I am enjoying it. Just wondering if it's a game I need to be nitpicky about taking dmg/using ammo and restarting to last save point if I waste stuff. Nothing to scarry so far yet, need's more suspense. But the one scene at the beginning of the game where all the lights go off in the corridor for a minute and its pitch black... is pretty freaky cause of all the bgs

Haha yes! That part was freaky... and... nothing even really happened!

You do need to be kinda sparce so to speak with your ammo, Ive ran into a couple cases where I ran out because I wasnt being careful. Also the secondary fire on the first gun you get(the name escapes me) helps alot being able to control your shots is helpful.

I just started chapter 12 but haven't even walked off of the shuttle yet.
