Your FFXI Blog?

I've been meaning to poke you. You should set up a LJ feed so that people on LJ can still read your posts. Unfortunately there are very very few non-LJ blogs I follow (none of them are FFXI), mostly because bookmarking doesn't work nearly so well as friending.

Edit: Assuming you care about people reading your posts. I vaguely recall you mentioning you didn't have much of an audience anymore? Or that you didn't care about interacting with your readers? Something like that. If you're not interested in that, no worries.

I didn't know there was a cross feed function My old post wasn't saying I don't want readers, more like I didn't know if people still read the LJ thing, as a ton of people on Flist stopped updating theirs, and updating LJs became stale after us NAs had discovered pretty much all the game mechanics and stuff, it became "My LS did <event> Got <item>, but we didn't get <item> so we're sad"

Ah! That's right! Okay, my memory of what you said was a little off.

And yeah, you can set up a feed on your current site (not sure how you'd do it on a private site, but on other blog sites like blogspot it's just a matter of clicking a box), then check the LJ FAQ on how to feed it through there.

Lots of my (non-FFXI) friends have left LJ because of a number of their policies about porn and privacy and such, so they just set up that feed thing so those of us who haven't moved can still read them.
