No, I wouldn't. In fact, one of our members recently just got a salvage body bought by our LS bank and left. I don't feel salty or cheesed out because they earned it.

I know my linkshell members, I know their careers/ages/appearances/voices via vent.. in current times people you know online can be considered friends as well as people you -actually- know due to the state of technology. Likewise, there are different relationships that work differently for different people.. playing FFXI on a different server? It's comparable to hanging out with your guy friends that your gf/wife doesn't necessarily like.. you can even have a computer next to your wife/gf's and discuss what you're both doing with your shells and whatnot. I'm not against being in the same shell, but ditching ~30 people(no clue how big shell in question is, sry) that you know and do things with on a daily basis to integrate your life with your S.O. in one more way is by no means necessary.

Edit: If they're really that close a couple, more power to them. The fact remains that the gil spent on salvage body could be reimbursed and the novia/aureole could have been returned if she felt as guilty as you think she did.

I've no doubt that Jen felt bad for leaving, but at the same time I've no doubt she'd rather enjoy playing a game with her boyfriend than people she only knows through a game.
