Pretty cool. Although we've had ncix.com for quite some time and, as someone who lives on the West Coast, their distribution centre location in the Lower Mainland helps cut down on shipping fees and time for me.

Reading through that I can see why a lot of people are kind of let down, but I'm sure they'll work it out.

They better if they want Canadian business.

Edit: Apparently some people want them to put a warehouse in Canada? That'd be a pretty good idea actually, lol.

Until they get a distribution centre in Canada, there's really no reason for Canadian shoppers to purchase from Newegg. Getting stuff across the border is ridiculously expensive (free trade my ass ><) and deters a lot of Canadians from purchasing stuff online from the US.

In the past I've used a third-party air courier to bring in things like auto parts to Canada in an effort to circumvent the nasty UPS/FedEx border surcharges.

If they can get a distribution centre in Canada and are able to remove all the excess S+H charges, they they might be able to compete.
