Hi, although this was a law, and although it was illegal to change, it was changed before Bush, Bush further changed it for Katrina, and now it has been used in the same manner.

lol, what I find funny now.... is because the change in this law, they might actually use the national guard for protective services now.

In MA, they recently cut away with police details on roads that the speed limit is under 45 MPH. So local/state police have been going around harassing the water/sewer workers from doing road work without any safety detail.

So now, the MA Governor is considering trying to get National Guard to ensure the police officers/troopers do not interfere with the work.

I guess you have very little knowledge of history or why this law was in place to begin with.

Whether an action is benevolent or not, it sets a precedent that the founding fathers were keen on not allowing to happen again. I don't know what the right answer is, but I know that Bush wasn't the first to change this law so that part of the argument is irrelevant.

If you are in the Army, and you are asked to patrol the streets after a "natural disaster" and you fire lethally at someone, what kind of precedent does that set? I think if you do fire lethally, you aren't really a soldier for the United States.

The national guard has been used to Patrol/Help citizens of natural disasters for YEARS!

Why the fuck is this some huge issue now? Even is worried about military personally patrolling the streets of a city? Well what about the blizzard of '87 (I think it was 87) but the national guard was activate to patrol/keep order in the city because the police couldn't and to help rescue citizens.

Actually, the moon landing was real, but the purpose behind it is what's suspicious. I think they landed on the moon to hide the alien bodies that were found in roswell and transported to Area 51 with all the other spacecrafts and alien technology that they're using to save the elite few in Dec 2012 or when the LHC destroys us (whichever comes first). JFK was going to tell the world about Roswell, which is why Hitler (who's still alive, btw. His death was faker than both the holocaust and the 2004 presidential election) assassinated him.
