Canadian game pricing has been fucked up lately. There are the reasonable companies that just convert prices based on currency value (to which the Canadian dollar is weaker by roughly 5 cents), and then there are the companies that jack an extra $10 on top for some unjustified reason (in my eyes).

By book I meant strategy guide. I thought the collector's addition came with some extra disc as well, but I guess it doesn't?

Either way though, not worth the extra 10 bucks.

Is there some good guide about what weapons to focus on upgrading for certain builds? I read a guide on game faqs and it made my head asplode. Trying to figure out what weapon is best, and where to get better weapons. The guide said something about certain weapons can only be upgraded once from their original forms +0, and some special rare weapons are in the game. Where do I find all this stuff w/o buying the strat guide.

Fuck sake. I'm done with this game for the day. After a somewhat productive morning with it, I've lost about 40k souls in the past few hours. 2-2 is probably #1 on my list right now of Things I Hate Most in Life Currently, with all the fucking falls and whatnot in it. How the fuck do you easily get down to that Fire Demon boss? Not that I can beat it by myself, but still, I can't figure it out, and I've been exploring everywhere, unless I'm missing something obvious.

I think my Soul Level is 29 or something. I need a better weapon than this Long Sword +5 and I have that Purple Dragon Shield, or whatever. Like a retard I used those Boss Demons souls on my character to gain souls. I didn't know you could give them to the Blacksmith. I honestly might start again all over, now that I have a better understanding of the game. Either way, I'm somewhat aggravated with it at the moment.

I think 2-2 is fairly straightforward. 2-3 on the other hand is hard to navigate and has the hardest boss I've fought so far.

No you cannot but you can put them in the storage. each slot goes to 99 I believe, or just drop it if you expect yourself not to use it.



I think my data being corrupted helped me, sorta, I remade at least 4 times and decided to go Barbarian this time and I love it.

After the first boss I did str 15->22 to use the purple shield and use the bastard sword from 1-1 easily in one hand.

Then I went to 3-1 and got the assassin armor, move around quickly yess, then got the knight starting armor from that dead guy there and going to grind out some souls now to get my dex up to use a bow to make the spider fight go easier.

I started with Temple knight personally and haven't looked back since. I dunno whether its the class or I'm doing something right but I've only died about 6 times so far..and 4 of those came from falling off cliffs. One was on the flamelurker though..what a bitch he was. The last was from the red eye knight guy in 1-1 on my first run in there. Temple knight just seems so overpowered.
