So uh, yeah awesome. I went to world 3 and on my third summon I was summoned as the boss monk. Waited around 5 mins and I guess the host died and I got the towel head.

I'm practically in love with this game.

Are there certain stats I should prioritize? I am going easy mode with Royalty (I can't imagine how hard it is without Soul Arrow lol). Just curious. Or should I try to maximize equipment upgrades?

This game seems to have tons of depth but a not too clear path.

Don't know if its been asked yet, but if you die in an area, then leave the area to to get souls + items, can you still recover your body as long as you don't die while doing so? I just died to the flame boss, and want to farm some souls to buy more healing stuff and repair my armor.

Yeah your bloodstain will be there till you claim it or die a second time. But you don't get your body back. Just your souls. You get your human form back by beating a boss or using Stone of Ephemeral Eyes.

Ended up beating old king doran by using thief ring and no armor..sneaking up behind him and stabbing him then running away lol Just did that repeatedly till he died. Took about 2 min with the demonbrandt.

I just wanted to know if you could change worlds and your souls would still remain where you had previously died. Brute forcing the flame guy down as a Temple Knight with a Halberd+5 and Purple shield+4 is kinda fun, till I ran out of healing items. Might try it with my winged spear+6 next time.

Thats pretty much what I did. Just melee'd his face with my halberd but I had a huge stock of healing items.

He was kind of a joke too. He wouldn't run at me so I just Soul Arrow'd him to death, was kinda disappointing.

Also I just got the Demonbrandt at level 29. Anyone know how much str I need to use this thing effectively?

I believe its 18 str.

And jesus.. I know I'm abit strong now but I finally went to do 3-1 and the boss was easier than those things that just run around following you. She casted a spell, I dodged and hit her 3 times with the demonbrandt and she went down.

Can I get the key to access the King by killing the NPC near the Thief's Ring in 1-1?

I have a feeling that NPC would kick your ass, considering he goes away after the first boss and you can't level up until after the boss... so have fun fighting him at level 1.

I killed him on my wanderer like lv4 or something all I did was backstab him constantly

And I just equipped Demonbrandt, and um, it seems to kinda suck. Its weaker than my Crescent Falchion+1 and its slow as hell. I died fighting one of the blue knights in 4-1 that I usually demolish with my Falchion.

Another downside to killing him, the swords damage is pretty meh, however, you get bonus att if you're character is max white tendency. So that means if you're killing NPCs the sword is worthless. The sword is 130 Damage and an additional 130 damage if you have white character tendency. But if you have a black character tendency it is 130 damage MINUS up to 130 damage so it can technically be 0 attack. So yeah, killing him will probably make the sword pretty shitty because killing an npc is -3 character tendency and I think pure black is -7. So by killing him you'll be getting a sword thats like 130 damage - 60 (unless you were pure white +7) making it like 70 damage.

I got that key not even knowing what the fuck. I think the mobs killed him when I was "escorting" him.
