This game looks really amazing. I love a good challenge. The only thing that pisses me off is how they gimped the online. Should have made it like monster hunter. I dunno maybe it will be better once I get my hands on it either way I am buying because it's not just another shitty fps. Please release a patch for voice you batards.

The only thing that I didn't really like the sound of was that they aren't using the Friend List at all, so I don't know how easy it will be to play with other friends who have the game. Also people who imported the game won't be able to play with the NA when it gets released, which is either a good or bad thing depending on who you are, lol.

Also, no EU release? That sucks, unless some other publisher picks it up and releases it there. But who cares when you can import it, one thing I love about the PS3 is the region-free games.

Other than that, game looks amazing.

I too agree that reviving this topic due to this game's imminent domestic release is useful. I almost forgot all about this game coming out and now I realize it's just around the corner

Apparently they have implemented a function for on-line play. While playing on-line if you die, you may be "summoned" by another player as a minion to assist them in a fight.

You can also leave warnings for other players in certain areas. They mentioned something about voting for certain messages and that the original poster of the message might get some bonus or whatever.

The Gamespot site has a small hands on video for their october 1st edition of on the spot, has very little combat, but it was nice to see the game in action. It looked really good. I wish they did like they used to and had an hr long show to have better hands on demo's.

I really want to like this game but I can't. The online features are just so lacking. It could have been amazing with polished online gameplay. Are Japanese gamers really that anti social? At least level 5 got around to adding voice chat into wkc in time for the us release. When will devs get with it and add this simple feature on release? Still on the fence about this game.

I managed gamestop when the first ninja gaiden came out and I had people wanting to return it because it was "too hard", hate to see the bitching when this comes out.
