The more I think about it Null, I just can't see how your 'glitch' would even work, and that is not at all what I was doing. I just killed myself there in body form a couple times after beating a boss. Dying there does not affect your WT, while dying in a level clearly does. Only souls i got out of it were the ones i had before i died =P

TBH, I'm not sure as well. I had been reading a FAQ about it and the guy had mentioned a glitch that he hated so I looked it up and found a few sites with it.

The way that is worded makes it sound like only 1000 at a time which would be slower then 4-2 but the others said it stacks up to as high as you can get.

Yep, actually did the same just now and found it on one of the sites i actually used a few times for halp.

I had read about the de-patch thing it mentions in there aswell, but have no idea if that even applies to the NA version of the game and wasn't interested in finding out. Seems like if people are using it in the NA version they would have to depatch the game first?

EDIT: Reading this would only work on an Asian copy of the game, that can be de-patched. So not applicable (thankfully) for the NA version since it is pre-patched out of the box.

And my understanding is that it doubles each time? First 1k, then 2k, then 4k, and on and on?

Seems so, very glad it doesn't work on the NA. Would be a large disadvantage imo.

As for doing it for invades, haha I understand that and plan to do that.

I hope to know how fun invades are soon... At this point I am pretty damn close to NG+. I beat 1-4 last night, then quit+restart until i stayed online long enough and did Old Monk but sadly still got the NPC version. Was looking forward to using my Dragon Bone Smasher on someone. Then quickly did a bit of farming to get my level back from teh Old King's Soulsucker =(

Not sure what I want to do now. Only have 5-2 and 5-3 left to go and I should have White World there so i can get the Selen quests done at least.

I am at around level 84ish i think. For those of you that have gone on to NG+ what do you think a good level to start it at would be?

I want to get Soulsucker also... but GD I would need to put quite a few levels in Will just to get the MP to use it. I think I have a whopping 97 MP right now. I think a nice round level 100 would be a good place to start for NG+ but i have no idea.

EDIT: Actually if i did aim for 100, that would mean all 16 of those levels into Will (currently at 14) would get me 30 which is 200MP (more with Silver Catalyst)

Most of the suicides at the nexus are to go out and pk other people.

It really doesn't matter...I started NG+ at 55, game is more about understanding mechanics than stats.

Farm 4-3 with avarice ring and soul thrist, you'll make that back in about 10 minutes

Any idea roughly of how much friend/foe rings increase attack? It feels like a lot; nearly one hitting red eyes with R2 and Northern Regalia.

I just invaded some guy who was completely naked, and I stood there for a bit and he didn't do anything but roll around. So I also took off all my armor and weapon and we had a fist fight lol.

Question about the Dragon God boss. After I hit him with the two giant spear things, what exactly am I supposed to do? I went down to the ledge next to his head, he wouldn't do anything and wouldn't really be in range for me to melee. And I cant find any angle where I can shoot him with arrows or magic.

Use the lock on, you'll see the target but its the little horn near his chin.

Nevermind, the first try was glitched. His chin wouldn't come into view at all. I just tried it again and it was right there.

Am I not aloud to kill the red 1-1 Dragon? I got it down to like 20% and it flew away. What a waste.

Did anyone else screw up on Ostrava? He didn't appear in 1-4 for me, so i assume he got killed in 1-3 w/o me knowing. Found out that if he gets killed and you don't loot his body right away for the key, you are SOL. No Demonbrandt for me
