So I black phantom'd in 3-1 today getting my body then killing myself in 5-1 to lower my WT because most people either d/c immediately or I can't find anyone in 5-1. First few times was pretty funny. I'd let the guys come to me then I'd cast either Death Cloud or Rage of God and some people will either run away immediately (not a smart choice) or keep fighting because they have the right gear.
This one particular game I invaded started me off on a 2vs1. They were down the hall where you get the first key to advance. I always have a Thief's Ring on so when they came back down the hall, they could only see me if I stood across from them. When they started coming towards me, I ran into the cell next to the first locked gate, shifted my camera so I could see them coming and cast Rage of God as they got into range. Took out half of their HP. As soon as I saw that I hit, equipped my Northern Regalia sword, 2-handed it and did a running attack killing both of them at the same time before they could heal themselves. It was pretty awesome as I'm sure they thought they had it in the bag.
lol I might do something just as bad, I have yet to run away from anyone. I always charge forward at them.
Logging in now, Null
I picked this up a couple of days ago when I bought a PS3. I've only cleared 1-1, 1-2, and 2-1 so far, but I'm loving it. I'm only around lvl25 or so (Temple Knight) and I'm wondering how high I should be before trying to clear 4-1, since the consensus seems to be that 4-2 is where the good soul farming is.
I believe you are high enough. I know I got to 4-2 as a low level and used that as my base for leveling.
I am so pissed at this game. Not only Ed disappeared. Patches and the merchant near him have disappeared as well, so now I can't get miracles from Urbain and can't upgrade my weapons.
As if the game wasn't hard enough already, I get +1 difficulty because of a fucking bug.
I can't get Evacuate to soul farm easily either.
Did you rescue an NPC in 3-2 by any chance?
If so....
Spoiler: show
Beat Scirvir without getting touched. Twas a great fight!
Anyone played around with the Foe's ring at all? I'm curious how much it increases the damage. I'm also kind of wondering how good a heavy dex build is now. I've run with a few blue's that seem to be built around that and use weapons with high rating in dex. I had one blue with what looked like a +5 compound long bow who was 1-2 shotting everything in 4-2 from a distance.
Anyone able to recommend a good zone to farm Half/Late/Full-Moon grass? After 1-2 the mobs start to dwindle on dropping them. Guess it's back to the newb zones.
[EDIT] It's a Sunday, I've been playing an hour, and I've yet to see a single blood-stain/message/ghost in 3-2........
Nvm, for some reason the game was offline yet never bothered to mention it, or disconnected during one of my bathroom trips. >.>
Hmm, not that far in yet, been trying to deal with the 3-2 boss who is proving to be a major pain in the...., may just go and farm souls off the 4-1 skellies for a bit, and perhaps get farther in that area instead. (maybe take out the tutorial boss in the process)
Starting to regret not focusing on miracles to the point of having 3 memorized, could use the protection ward spells.
I'd say 2-1. The fire dudes drop Late Moons 100% of the time. Might as well pick up the rare spider stones along the way.
If you get to 1-4 the entire begining of that area has been great for me farming fullmoon grass and new moon grass. I have a full stack of both on me and deposited.
Also that disconnection thing happened to me once too. I was wondering why I wasn't being invaded then I noticed there were no messages and I couldn't write any either. Seems to be kinda random.
Now that I've received my Sticky+5, I got seven Spider Chunks and Three Pure Spiders in the last two hours!!!!!
Edit: WTF!!?!? I quit after killing a gecko that gave me two Spider Chunks and Pure. Then when I came back I was right in front of it again so I killed it. Collected the same thing, checked my inventory and I had my items from before as well. So double the amount.
I'm not sure about this, but it seems Thomas will say something different from usual if you talk to him right after shifting an area's tendency toward white, such as killing a boss.
