Not sure if this has been posted, but if you are missing NPCs in the Nexus..

Yurt the Silent Chief may be killing them.

After you free him in the second part of the Tower of Latria, He will undertake the Assassination missions and go ahead and kill your NPCs, usually best to just kill him as soon as you free him, or kill him after you beat the boss in that area (He'll be in the nexus somewhere I don't remember)

Yeah as soon as I let him free he walked by me and I backstabbed him. And everyone should do the same.

Edit: Also Kwijiboe we can do blue phantom stuff instead of pvp. I haven't done much multiplayer beyond killing others.

Just to add to that Ostrava thing I posted on the last page: Even though he didnt show up in 1-3 to give me my Clearstone, he was still waiting on the steps in 1-4 after the dragon. Threw me for a loop because I got him in the assassination quest, and had no idea where he was since he was a noshow in 1-3. And since he killed himself, I didnt get credit and the chain bugged. Meph kept saying "What's wrong?" after his suicide. Had to talk 3-4 times before she skipped to Yuria.

I need a pure darkmoonstone, since I seem to be out of options for it (again) it doesn't drop from the damn lizards. Also, I can't get through damn 5-1. If it wasn't accidental falls, it was ambushes and swarms of goblin guys, and if it wasn't that, it was huge goblin guys with clubs. They all hit me pretty hard at soul level 115 >.< No one was around to summon into my game either, and it's taking a LOT of heavy arrows to get through parts of the level, then DIE, wasting the arrows I spent >.<; I've gone through like 420 arrows in several tries. UGH. It's pissing me off so bad, the first run through 5-1 was easy, because I was over leveled and most mobs were dropping in one hit. Now it's torture.

Haha I feel your pain. My second playthrough, it took me almost 2 hours (not counting the amount of times I died beforehand) before I got to the second boss because in soul form, most shit killed me in one hit almost always because I did some stupid careless shit.

Same for me, except my bane is ending up being the Pure Moonlightstone I need that, and 1 more Pureblood/Yellow Demon Soul for the last spells and then I'm Plat :D

5-1 isn't that bad though. The only tricky part is the ambush at the first giant goblin. And if youre having trouble with the giant goblins themselves, warding does wonders.

And regarding 5-1, I do use warding, but it still takes a chunk out of my health, and blocking takes a large chunk of stamina.

Well, I'm missing the hardstone, sharpstone, greystone, bladestone, mercurystone, suckerstone, marrowstone, darkmoonstone, faintstone, and cloudstone trophies (lol)

I know darkmoonstone would help since I can't get one of those stones until my next playthrough (unless you've got just the pure darkmoonstone since I just need one) lol

I just need 1 chunk of cloudstone to finish my cloudstone shield. How about You give me a chunk of cloudstone and the moonstone weapon, i'll give you sharp, hard, and darkmoon. Then i'll go back and get the cloud shield made, and we can meet up again so you get the cloud trophy.

If you've got any chunks of hardstone I could use that too lol I've got my purple dragon shield up to +8, and I'm missing mainly chunks to max it out (I can always buy the other pieces from the NPCs) lol

BUt yeah I've got 4 chunks of cloudstone total, I can spare one. I've only got 2 chunks of hardstone ._.

I only have a couple chunks of hardstone and I'm afraid I might need them later. Shouldn't matter since you'll get the trophy from my weapon. sent you a friend request, make sure you have enough room for all these weapons.

I just beat flamelurker in ng+... was a much different fight when I melee'ed it.

But pretty damn fun Slow but steady... Moon spear wins.

Yeah, they suck. For me, blocking wasnt really an option for them before I had warding. Too easy to break my guard and just destroy me before I could do anything else.

Once I got warding though, I just straight up tanked them. Block their first hit, which usually takes 90% of my stamina but leaves me enough of a sliver to retaliate with a heavy swing(r2). Now I'm out of stamina and they'll of course hit me, but with warding its only like 1/10 my hp bar in NG+. So I just ate it, repeated x4 or w/e and they were dead. Purp Shield+10, Ancient King Armor, 32 Vit & Endurance and countering with Northern Regalia.

I got invaded by BP's probably three times in all of NG, and so far I've been invaded 6 times in world 4-1 alone in NG+. Can I expect this to continue or is it just because it's the weekend? I like getting invaded, but this is a bit much.

Also does anyone else find it a ton easier to defeat a BP than it is being a BP?

I have every weapon except Suckerstone, Bladestone, and Marrowstone. If anyone has 1 Pure Bladestone, 1 Chunk of Suckerstone, and/or shards/chunks of marrowstone or even the weapons themselves, I would like to make a trade. I'm level 128. Let me know so I can stop farming for stones and start working on getting all the magic/items :\

Does anyone have a good beginner guide? Finally managed to grab a copy today but I'm a bit lost with some of the game mechanics.
