I got invaded by BP's probably three times in all of NG, and so far I've been invaded 6 times in world 4-1 alone in NG+. Can I expect this to continue or is it just because it's the weekend? I like getting invaded, but this is a bit much.

Also does anyone else find it a ton easier to defeat a BP than it is being a BP?

Less hp, and if you BP a lot, you get even less hp. Not to mention blues.

Tested just now, appears every time u log out/in it lowers your WT 1 step. Initially is what I've seen. After 4~ logoffs appears to be pure black.

Just Confirmed, went back to normal WT after killing dark phantom Miralda. Logged out, seems WT went down by 1 step. Logging out again 2-4x put it back to pure black. Killed the primevil demon in 2-1 to confirm it is indeed pure black.

4-1 is where it goes down in my experience, its as open as the worlds get.

Killing black phantom satsuki as a level 20 is ridiculous..really it wouldn't be so bad if he stopped healing himself. But its at least doable.

Just shoot him from a distance, he never heals himself if you interrupt.Won't even get hit.

On that note, I just realized that I haven't played this game since my trade with Celeras.

Didn't have anything to shoot him with. Just made a new char for getting invaded since I enjoy pvp and not enough people are at my main's level. But on my new char all the worlds started on pure black so I had to clear satsuki out of the way without leveling or doing too much crap.

I now have every stone weapon except Bladestone and Marrowstone. If Anyone wants to make a trade and needs some stones for one of the weapons I've completed, let me know. I want to be done with farming.

Aw man, just lost over 20k souls at soul level 14 at Tower Knight before realizing that you can soul arrow him from the ledges. Shit sucks because my blood stain was at Tower Knight and I got sloppy and tried to rush to him and ended up dying at the pack of dogs.

I know it sucks right now but as you progress through the game you'll eventually be able to get 20k souls in 2 min or less. So don't worry about it.

Not sure if this has been posted, but if you are missing NPCs in the Nexus..

Yurt the Silent Chief may be killing them.

After you free him in the second part of the Tower of Latria, He will undertake the Assassination missions and go ahead and kill your NPCs, usually best to just kill him as soon as you free him, or kill him after you beat the boss in that area (He'll be in the nexus somewhere I don't remember)

The NPCs I was missing weren't in the Nexus to begin with. They were the merchant and blacksmith in 2-2.

They disappeared long before I even got to Yurt.

So If I'm working towards a melee build should my main emphasis be on Str and Dex? And are there any other stats which are largely useless aside from lucky?

It'll ultimately depend on what weapon you use. Weapons with an E in STR and S in DEX should favor DEX pretty much entirely. I'd suggest you look at the different weapons upgrades on the wiki to plan out what weapon you'll want to use. The letter mods for your stats will strengthen your weapon in scale with its base damage, so for example Tearing and Sharp prefixes both end up with E STR and S DEX at +5, but since Sharp scales up base damage(the left number in the equip screen) more you'll get more out of the stats you've already put in(this bonus is the number on the right).

If you already have a weapon you like to use, look up which upgrades are possible with it and build your stats around what that weapon will use. If you want to plan far ahead you could also look at what weapons that upgrade with colorless souls will use too.

There is a nice Spreadsheet on the wiki as well, very handy for planning out builds (and for tracking what you need for upgrades too) so check it out.

As far as losing 20k goes, yeah soon that won't matter as much. Only then... you will be losing 100k and it will still suck anyway. =)

Man, I'm stuck at almost pure white tendency on the valley, and I beat the bosses of that world. I beat the bosses AND the primeval demon and came up JUST short (I blame the fucking halloween event for reducing my world tendency for logging in today, and a black phantom player for killing me yesterday in my body form randomly).

I guess there's no way to get pure white in this world so I can get my Brand and ring, huh? Missed out on it on the first playthrough.

Just keep an eye on the WT on that level while you're working on that playthrough. When playing online, WT seems to change slightly.. Especially world 4.. I have no idea why. Think it's a glitch.

Can't get any invasions in body form I guess since I beat all the levels there too, I know beating a black phantom invader increases your world tendency toward white, but none of the people I was helping had invaders, and I don't think what happens with their world helps mine.

Remember that you have to go back to the Nexus before world tendency changes take effect. And yeah, I've had pure white before I've stepped foot in some worlds. Just play some of the other worlds and try to come back to it.
