Took a break from this for a few days, came back and was going to go upgrade a Short Sword to get the Morion's Blade... and Ed has gone AWOL from my game. Pretty GD annoying. I already have one char that is ready for NG+ but this was my 2nd char that I have been playing lately, staying within level of my friend. So lame. I still have 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, all of 3 and all of 5 to go too =(

Oh well, guess I either save the souls of just get the magic/miracles from them instead and get the weaps in NG+

Tried getting back to the game last night, but still bored of it. Not going to sell it because I find myself wanting to play repetitive games every now and then and most the time I've already sold them so I can't do anything about it. At least with this game when I pick up and play it wouldn't be like I'm just repeating something I once did at all times since I can always level. Doubt I'll ever reach the cap.

As for Ed, I've heard many stories about him going awal. Many say they think he was killed in pvp.

What's the deal with Morion blade? Does its +30% bonus still apply when off-handed or something?

Yeah, if you put it in the left hand then two hand something, it gets the bonus.

Your attack power goes through the roof. You can snipe a lot of things with a bow using morion + clever rats very quickly.

Yeah, not sure about NPCs while you are a Black Phantom, but as a Blue Phantom they merely appear as a ghost (exactly like other player ghosts that you see from time to time) and you can't interact with them at all.

The last thing i had done was far the geckos on 2-2 a couple times, then i logged out in 2-4. Yeah, he just took off. I wonder if it has anything to do with me logging out in the 2-x world and not the Nexus... oh well.

Figures, doing 5-1 now, got a Pure Marrow (Pulp) Stone =(

EDIT: LOLWTF is going on? Just got the NPC Merchant in 5-1, bought some Lotus and the Ephemeral stone from her, went on past her a bit and killed some nasties, came back... she fell through the floor where she was sitting and is now on the floor below where i killed a bunch of rats. So strange.

Killed the boss on 5-1, came back to get to the Pure WT area in it, NPC merchant crazy bag lady... gone. They hate me =(

Aha, nevermind. Turns out that Filthy Woman NPC moves to 5-2, so that isn't that strange... as long as she is there when i get there =P Poor Ed though, he will be missed.

Oh and yes, ever since I setup Port Forwarding on my new router (a few days before the DS Maintenance a ways back) I have had no issues staying online from the moment i start playing.

Finally finished my first playthrough, looking forward to NG+. Pretty paranoid right now though because I have 1.8m souls walking into 1-1 now so If I die twice I'm completely screwed.

I traded it in when I got Dragon Age. Best choice ever, DS got to the point that I'd rather go to work than log on and farm more.

I so want to get Dragon Age, but I hate games with $15 DLC that others got for free when reserving and expensive DLC in general. I feel like I've already missed 100%ing it because I didn't have the money to reserve right away.
This silly little thing is the main thing keeping me from playing a game I otherwise REALLY want to play.

Actually the $15 DLC is for ALL new copies of the game until April 2010, not just pre-ordered ones. And while I loved Demon's Souls, Dragon Age blows it out of the water, with, you know, story and stuff.

Anyone else having troubles with this online? I've tried three times now, and every time I log in, and get the ok that I'm online, I don't see ghosts, bloodstains, messages, and can't write my own. For some reason I can still place a soul sign though....

I also seem to be dealing less damage than yesterday for some reason even though I've had no change in equipment, nor tendancies from the look of things. Anyone got any idea what may be up? I've went from 2-shotting grim reapers in 4-2 to 3-shotting, and I have to two-shot all the skellies now rather than one-shot.

Last I checked monsters don't scale with your level either, and I did just hit SL60....
