So far I like Barbarian a lot, I just wish I didn't have to spend 3hrs at the start farming 3500 souls for a good weapon and shield lol (Battle Axe & Heater Shield). I'm still running around completely naked though, I can't find any armor lol.

On the plus side, while farming 3500 souls I now have 60 Crescent Moon Grasses.

I went through the Tower Knight boss without dying so at the end of that I had 25k souls.

I heard this game was going to be stupid hard, but really it's not that bad.

if people are progressing so far so quickly there's always a chance the difficulty was dumbed down for the US release. It wouldnt surprise me, although I'm wondering why we didn't hear about it yet.

Holy shit, I found that thief vendor guy and now that I have a full set of plate armor, I'm like a freaking tank. Armor makes the game so much easier, starting as a barbarian sucked.

How do you play online on this game? I just beat Phalanx, do I need to be farther in the game?

Once the game becomes more populated and people know what they're doing, online multi will be more likely I'm thinking.

The requirements for Co-op is the host must have his body, and not have beaten the boss in the stage he is currently on. I kinda want to start a new character to coop with someone throughout the game.

Best buy looks at me funny like I'm making up the game when I ask them if they have it.
All of the Game Stops in my area seem to only have enough for the pre-orders.

gamestops get copies based on preorders, game like this didnt get many orders so they dont stock many

Only store in my area that had it was GameStop, they only got two extra copies, Toysrus here isnt even going to carry it, after they said they were, games like this you absolutley need to reserve at gamestop to get it.

My g/f, whose an ASM at GameStop, explained to me how fortunate we are living in NY as far as game availability goes. Most stores in our district and the ones nearby (NYC) will almost always stock one or two copies of a game even if it doesn't get preorders. Living out in the middle of nowhere, you are pretty much forced to preorder a game you want or else you're not getting it. For this reason, amounts of preorders are always higher out in the midwest and south when the quarterly statistics are released.

Most of the game is not that bad but every now and then I start screaming at my TV. I hate how when you die you have to start literally from the very start of the level... I was about 2 hours into one level with no deaths and died and had to restart. I tried to run back to my corpse but died along the way and lost about 3k souls.....

This game can be frustrating.

Then when I finally get back to him again and clear the archers...but then I accidentally rolled into him slamming the giant shield down into the ground.

yea, we had 2 regular, 1 premium preordered and we got in 3 regular 1 premium at my store

Gamestop is bullllllllllshit. I rarely shop there anymore, I just order everything off newegg. never pay tax or shipping. Anyhow, I ordered the SE today from them, should hopefully have it soon.

I worked for Gamestop a number of years ago. The DM would tell us over the phone and come in, and tell us NOT to sell to people who didn't preorder. Then the customers just turned around and went to the Best Buy down the street and bought it there. Thousands of dollars lost. Then the DM started bitching how we weren't doing enough business on first day sales, had to get more preorders, etc. So we just started selling all the copies sitting there behind the shelves that weren't preordered. That promptly shut him up until he wondered why we were selling them. My boss told him quite literally to suck a dick. Then he went to regional, and the DM got written up.

Long story short, if GS says they don't have any copies other than the preorders, they're simply lying to try to get you in preorder. They still pull this shit today. Dumb bastards. It might ring true for limited editions and stuff, but with the internet and choice of all the other stores around, you can get that shit anywhere.

yea, that aint the shit gamestop runs anymore hate to break it to you, most times we actually sell into the reserves some too on copies we have plenty of because we know most people won't pick up the first day.

we say we dont have it, its cause we dont have it cause we dont get tons of extras if ppl dont preorder shit. if your gonna buy it anyways whats the harm in putting money on something, the money comes off the price.
