ya, I struggled hard on the 1-2 boss, Tower Knight, until I figured out you can run up on the ledge and kill the archers and just zap the shit out of the boss lol

I'm hoping someone can answer this for me. I'll pose the problem in spoiler format

I was in an underground area (cant remember exact spot) just past the Armored spider when I came across some huge worm like creature on a wooden platform behind some dude waving a spear. Like a idiot I tried picking the dude off at a distance not knowing he was a friendly NPC. Then he came running at me to attack and I took off running lol. Now everytime I enter this area he just attacks. Is there any way to get him to stop attacking or do I have to kill him and possibly ruin my game? Same thing happened to the blue dude sitting in the Nexus, I came home to find a buddy of mine playing the game killing the blue guy, now he's gone for good, and instead of him being locked away in the tower, he's a red demon version that rapes me whenever I get close to him in the tower. (I assume its the same guy cause they look identical, but I could be wrong)

I know I could start over, but I'm soul level 50 atm and dont really wanna put in all that time over again...

Any ideas anyone?

You're fucked until NG+. Not trolling. Also the dude waving the spear sold probably the best arrows for what they cost. Don't have to start over. Just continue the game as usual. and try again after you beat the game

I always took the shortcut for 2-2 so I never encounter him until much later in the game where I knock-up that area to farm stones, and this is after I got him as a vendor (he'll still be there in 2-2 until you 'finish' that section of the map by triggering the fog just past that area)

so, 4-2 on NG+ is pretty hard as a thief

i've tried doing my best without a thiefs ring equipped but I guess I'm gonna try to pussy my way through while wearing that...

skeletons rape in NG+ and the manta's on the two ledges in 4-2 seem pushed out further compared to NG, making it harder to RA or ranged spell them to death

edit: is there a point to upgrading this past +3? the damage doesn't increase and you can't get a greater bleed effect on it, nor do you get a higher stat bonus

That god damn great sword using black phantom in in the poison swamp in 5-2 makes me want to skullfuck baby deer in the back of an el camino.

My build is useless against her, shield too small to block, can't roll cause of mud, bitch dodges all my spells...

Ya I just read up on the strat for her, may just go around the fog wall and glitch kill her from behind the wall so I can get that sword lol

I found that worked on everything tbh. I always used a big weapon the entire game.

I was able to kill her with soulsucker, i sneak behind her and use the spell.(be in soul form and use the ring that makes it harder to black phantoms to detect you, not the thief ring the other one)

I took the cheap route, used that and thief's ring, and picked her off from a distance using arrows. She gives up chase fairly soon if I just keep my distance as she tries to engage me from afar. Sure had to use Antidote a lot though to prevent poison death. >.>

Sometimes I wish the AI weren't so exploitable, as I tend to make use of them whenever possible. Bad habit of mine.

Yea, i used the downward smash with the big axe on everything and basically never let them get up. It usually worked lol.

Yeah, the great axe has a great moveset, and also really nice upgrade paths as well . Sucks they take up so many ores though.
