Why the fuck is my world tendency ALWAYS black? I've never killed an NPC or done a Black Phantom run, wtf?

I think you might actually be confusing her with the black phantom in the first swamp, no? That phantom always appears, that is the one with the great sword. Selens sword is the Blind, it is pretty small but it actually ignores shields and can attack straight through them.

What I did on Selen;

Get Clever rat's ring + morion blade. Double hand the biggest weapon you got in the right hand and backstab the bitch. This will almost kill her; she should run away and try to heal but it should only take 1 more hit to down her.

any advice on killing scirvir (ng+), with bow? im using graverobber+thiefs but he keeps regenning as he starts walking back to his little corner, i got him down to about 20% but he starts spam healing himself

So apparently there is a glitch for unlimited Gecko respawns. Posted by GameLooper from Gf, here's the short:

1. Join someone's world as a blue phantom.
2. Get to the boss, equip White Eye Stone in short cut and select it - don't use yet.
3. Get the boss down to pretty much no health then use the stone right as he dies (obviously letting the other person finish him). The only thing you should see is 'The Demon Has Been slayed' message and then a loading screen, that means no objective complete message.
4. Geckos should be up in your world.

Notes: Supposedly you must leave the world after doing it once to do it again. There is a "are you sure" message when you use the stone so take that into account for timing. You get souls for defeating the boss.

You mean are the Geckos still up after turning off? I can't confirm or deny that, but if you spook or kill the Gecko after performing the glitch they will be gone until you do so again.

Is Blacksmith Ed (2-1) supposed to be gone if you have PBWT? I would know if I did something as stupid as killing him (I haven't of course), and he's fucking gone now

How do you determine level ranges for the blue stones? Is it increments of 10 or 5 or something?

Have to be within 10 levels of each under level 100 is all I can recall. Above that, you're allowed a 20 level gap.
