are there any notable white tendency events for someone on their first playthrough? I'd like to take advantage of this. The only thing I've noticed is some bigass sword where you fight the Dragon God.

Take that and then give it to Scirvir, he will give you a pure (greystone?) I forgot what it was called but it was a chunk 'o' pure stuff. I'm hesitant to connect to take advantage though, does it set your WT to the type and then reset back to what it was before or would you have to move it yourself? I guess I could do them all but I don't want to do go through the trouble of that.

World 1 - For female characters you get arguable the best armor off of Miralda as well as a colorless demon's soul on the posts. Located in the gate just to the left of where you start.

World 2 - Dragon Bone Smasher in the Dragon God level and Scirvir the Wanderer will give you a Pure Greystone if you show it to him.

World 3 - The pathway on the floor with Rydell on it will open up and you can pick up some items (Notably Sage's cloth armor). Get the key in 3-2 on top of the first tower (there's a bridge halfway up the stairs in PWWT) for Rydell. Unlock Rydell's cell and then you can open another door. Go to the bottom floor where the hundred-arm ball is and open the cage to the right of him (directly opposite of where the crystal gecko is) run up and that door should open to get Rogue gear.

World 4 - Get Makoto from 4-2 where Saint Urbain is. Show it to Satsuke.

World 5 - Isratelle from 5-1, ladder right before the first giant depraved. Also in 5-3 Black Phantom Vinland will spawn where you fought him before. This time he'll drop Bramd and a crest. Show the crest to Selene Vinland in 5-2 on one of the islands and she'll give you the right of devout prayer I believe.

Magic sword makoto is very good on a first play through, it has really high base damage but no stat scaling, so it really shines early on. There's few other items such as the Istarelle, but DBS and Makoto are really the only WT tendency you'll really use. You'll also want to go and kill Miranda if you're playing a female character for the Binding armor set, which is arguably the best armor in the game for females.

is there a good reason to show Makoto to Satsuki? I looked it up and it said he'll attack you... do I want him dead?

Easy way to get minus -3 White World Tendency to save you a few Ephmereal Eyes when going for pure black in addition to a few extra souls for killing him. There's no other real change if you kill him or not, just a change in world tendency. Soul tendency won't change because he becomes aggressive 'naturally' and isn't an innocent kill.

will his black phantom still show up if you kill normal satsuki? it looks like his black phantom drops something

Yes, the black phantom appears regardless. His black phantom drop can also be picked up 4-2 near the slugs. It's the highest damage Katana a Dex-build can get, but costs 3% HP per swing that connects (shielded or not).

Make sure you go get the Dragon Bone Smasher.

High defense, relatively low weight, I can't wear mine though because my equip burden is so low (9 endurance); forget about the brushwood set lol.

Binding armor and Old King armor are regarded as the best armor sets because they have moderately high defense, but don't impede stamina at all. The only other armor which doesn't impede stamina is the really low defense equipments such as the rogue armor or black leather set.

Most would probably say Firestorm, but it really depends on whether your raising your magic or faith. Personally, I like God's Wrath more because Firestorm can miss if the enemy is between the geysers and it also takes up miracle slots instead, allowing you to still set other spells such as light/cursed weapon or warding.

Get ready for the most epic facepalm in the world. I discovered why I didn't like this game... after beating phalanx I went on to world 2-1 because I thought it was the next step in the game. That explains why I died so much in that world etc. well I finally beat it and just realized that I didn't finish world 1 yet <_<;

Haha nah after beating Phalanx, you can beat any world with the right stuff. First playthrough is always the hardest though.
