Flamelurker was always my most feared boss, so I'd just puss out and hide behind the pillar and shoot him with arrows/magic till he died. But last week I manned up and took him down with my thief armed with no flame resistance whatsoever, just had my +10 Secret dagger. Almost kicked it at the end of the fight when his swings were taking down my life to about 10%, but I won.

True, but his strategy is kinda boring to me. Stay far enough way til he does that charge sphere thing, sprint and attack then back off. He is really fast on the offensive and first time I did him I just poison clouded because I was a pussy lol. Really wish Dragon god was fightable :<

The fact that he can actually de-level your character makes him the most fun. Even if you've fought him dozens of times like I have, you still get just a little bit nervous around him when you know he has that move available.

The first time my friends and I played Demon Souls we did a few bosses together. We were up to FlameLurker and the Dragon god. It took us about 15 tries to beat the FlameLurker and then instead of going to spend my souls, my asshole friend ran right into the Dragon God fight and got his ass killed in a super awkward spot. That was the first time I had lost a good 25k Souls. When it's your first playthrough and you're like Soul level 12, 25k souls is a fuckton lol.

Uh, yeah, anyone want to, maybe, come help me kill Tower Knight? Can not figure out his attack range for the life of me and can't seem to run around him fast enough to hit his Ankles.

Oh thank god, I finally managed to do it. Only had 5 grass left too, lol.

Having same problem, used up all my supplies. Should I restart the entire game or is there a way to farm?

Farm souls from levels that you cleared and buy supplies from the blacksmith in the nexus. You can also warp into 1-3 (even if you cant enter) and sneak attack the blue eye knights in the end of 1-2 (there should be two of them). These blue eye knights drop 2 half moon grass 100% of the time and sometimes the fall moon grass, you also get 500 souls each from them so it's a nice farm spot.

Fails to kill them in NG+ and beyond, and is slow as hell.

Yeah it's pretty nice. Only issue was when I discovered it, I restarted the game so many times where one spike from them in soul form would one-shot me which sucked ass when I needed 4 pure cloudstones.

When i first finished the game, which was at like 4am on no sleep, i died in the first level because i was being careless. Figured no big deal, i'd just go get my souls back. Then i rolled off a cliff and lost 500k souls.

This is correct. Anything in 4 is great. Manta farming is awesome. You can make it exciting too by standing in the middle screaming "come at me bro!"

I think the reaper farming is faster, and less dangerous if you're not a caster. Run down and pop soul thirst, shoot a few arrows at the reaper and kill him, collect souls. Run and jump off the cliff, come back, pick up lost souls, rinse repeat. You don't get the big gaudy numbers, but it adds up quick.

do 4-2. Grab Morion Blade, Makoto, Clever Cat's ring and a bow (though morion +Makoto probably wont be accessible for you until NG+). Snipe the reaper right as you enter his room, get a load of souls. Go down and to the left, down the stairs and find the secret doorway. Have Thief's Ring equipped and when you see the Black Skeleton, hit it with an arrow and run back. Once the skeleton loses interest and walks back, gank him from behind to kill him.

Repeat 763 more times and you might get a Pure Bladestone for later use.
