about 30 hours. It's plenty for the type of game/story it is, trust me.

I tried out the demo, since a friend said it was pretty good, I enjoyed the battle system, but how is the story?

i am a slacker, i bought both games around the same time I think, or at least let them both sit around the house together, i dont really remember. I think I was mostly looking for a turn-based RPG at the time, I think my major issue with Eternal Sonata's combat was a seeming inefficiency in healing during battles.

i just played the PS3 demo as well, for some reason I enjoyed it a LOT more than the 360 version. I think they may have made graphics upgrades as well, but it might be my new TV

I'm still getting it though, the new chars and cutscenes interest me.

Another 40+ min ending?
I loved the game for 360, never played it again on New Game+ though cause I didn't have the patients to PL my characters all over again just to beat the 2nd boss lol... That, & I forgot to save after PL'ing my characters for an hr before the 2nd boss (on New Game+) and didn't have the heart to do it again after I got raped. Game is a blast, and once you unlock Party lv 6 the fights become pretty intense in the last dungeon and you can get owned regardless of how hi you PL yourself.

Falsetto, Allegretto and Viola = God tier party.
I never bothered with Encore because I missed a bunch of stuff on the first playthrough, so if I had wanted to 100% the game I would have had to redo Normal and then do Encore of that completed file. Didn't feel like replaying the game twice just to see everything.

Meant Falsetto... and yeah, she was so uber.
I used Falsetto (power house) - Viola (healer/dps) - March (pretty damn good when eqp'd right)

Oh no you didn't. Even a loli pirate can't match up to Viola.

I pretty much only used Allegretto because he was the main character, I would have used Claves if she didn't suck so much and well... yeah. Jazz was pretty damn godly too. I have no idea who I'd use on the PS3. I'd want to use Serenade and Crescendo but I'd also want to keep Viola and Falsetto. Guess it would depend on what role they play, if Serenade is a healer I'd probably have to go for Falsetto.

Viola is up there w/Allegretto, Falsetto & Jazz. and if you get the new characters when they cross your party in the 360 version... then you prolly don't get em until the 2nd to last "real" boss fight w/makes em kinda useless -.-

Glad I waited for the PS3 version of this, looking forward to the extra features. All the musical names make me think of that little green robot cat from the old Megaman games named Tango though.

Well there's actually a reason for the names, you'd have to play the game and figure it out from the story though.
