I will say that I am extremely surprised the zebras put the whistles away this game. There were so many penalties that should have been called on both sides it was getting kind of ridiculous. GO FUCKING PENGUINS STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS BABY!!!!! Fleury made the biggest save of his life on Lidstrom! I cannot believe he made that save. When that clock hit zero we all freaked I screamed so loud and long I literally got light headed and had to sit down. Phenomenal series and mad fucking props to Detroit in returning the favor with the cup celebrations. Kudos to Detroit for treating the ceremony with respect and honor like we did for them last year. I can't fucking believe this it's almost unreal to me. I am so fucking stoked right now. GO PENS!

Hossa would have replaced one winger though, and taken the salary of 2 that you currently have. So you would likely have another AHLer on the roster. Hard to say that in a world where Hossa stayed with the Pens if they would still win the Cup.

Oh I know this team would've been completely different had we kept him, like I said it was just me pretending to really care. The Hossa situation has always been something I was indifferent about to be honest, but I, and I'm sure you as a Detroit fan, can at least appreciate the irony of what he said as he made his decision to join the Red Wings.




Anyway, big props to the Red Wings (and to you guys) for making this an awesome series. It's a bit disappointing that I'm a newer fan and probably have already witnessed the best hockey I'll ever see, but damn has it been a fun two seasons. Gotta thank the majority of you for treating me as a fan too and not just dismissing me as a bandwagon fan (with the exception of one of you, forgot who it was, but it's all cool bro), I look forward to continuing to talk hockey with all of you during the off-season and into the next. I've learned a lot from you guys, so thanks for the season of conversations.
