The problem has been Tortorella's system is taking too much of a toll on these guys, they simply CAN NOT sustain it for 60 minutes. I still hold to the belief that we just need to make the playoffs, and go forward from there. We have a tough schedule to end the season (Boston, Montreal, Philly x2)

Florida's is almost as bad (Atlanta x2, Philly, Pitt, Wash). I said it before and I say it again, if the Rangers are going to get in, it's because they won their way in, and not from teams below them losing their way out, so fucking step up and do it!!!!!!!

And tuesday MTL vs Rangers so that game could seal up if habs or rangers are 7th depending on how teams play before that game

As a Wings fan I think the only chance of this team not winning a best of 7 series with anyone is if the goaltending shits the bed worse than it already has this season. Coincidentally that is one of the reasons I don't think we'll be able to hold on to Hossa, much to my dismay.

The whole game was a mess, both teams were sloppy and took bad penalties. But the Caps clinched the division with the OTL, so now all we have to do is stay ahead of New Jersey for the 2 seed, and hopefully miss the Pens and Flyers in the playoffs.
