Anaheim. They both have shitty goalies but I think Anaheim could step it up and take Detroit down. Other than that I think Vancouver could take Detroit if we actually play good.

I think any team can beat Detroit if they play poorly, and no team can beat them if they play well. The question is will their actual play, which is unlikely to be their best at the start of the playoffs, be enough to get them by.

They have the experience and are essentially the same team that they were last year, bolstered by Hossa. The defense is not playing as well, and the offense is playing better. Osgood was terrible to start the season but has been solid as of late, leading most to believe he will not be the direct cause of an early exit from the playoffs.

I just noticed that the Flames slipped into 5th last night, I guess the Bluejackets are more likely to play the Canucks in the first round now, although anything can still happen so we'll see. I'll take any team in the first round to be honest, I think we can definitely win vs. any of them.

Great atmosphere lastnight, exactly the kind of game I was expecting. Granted Florida lost so we would have gotten in anyway, but I rather see it as winning in, and not falling in by losing. Only thing that bugged me was we played GREAT in the 1st, meh in the 2nd, and good in the 3rd. gotta keep it up!

I listened to the end of the Rangers game last night. (Was hoping they would lose so the Sabres would have a chance haha)

I noticed that the home team announcers were pretty blatantly biased for the Rangers. There was a play where I think Gomez ran into Tim Thomas toward the end of the game and the Rangers announcers went fucking apeshit that a call was given to Gomez. I mean, you can disagree but they were like off the wall fucking APPAULED haha.

Is that a normal thing for the Rangers radio announcers? I noticed the announcers on MSG are pretty damn good though.

hmm I rarely listen to Rangers games on the radio...i think Kenny Albert does them? But yeah can't tell you much.

Sam Rosen and Joe Micheletti do play-by-play/color on MSG telecasts. I think they're pretty good, especially considered to guys for other local teams.

JS Giguere is currently the backup in Anaheim due to his piss poor performance in every game he's started. Jonas Hiller (the current starter) actually isn't half bad.

The only teams in East that MTL can beat if they play well in first round is Caps or Boston

Boston simply because Tim Thomas is TOO RANDOM.

Capitals, well Theodore is far from the best Goaler ever, and MTL played good against Oveshkin/Semin, this year.
