    The first level is most likely 19% as well. There's nothing to suggest otherwise, and 5*19% = 95%.

    I'm not saying it's the most useful thing to max out, but Sentinel will only reduce physical damage. With Guardian, if you know in advance that you're going to take a large amount of magic damage, you could use Sentinel to reduce the CE lost. Don't know how realistic that scenario would be; I'm just saying that it's not completely redundant.

    If you know for sure you're about to take large amount of magic damage, you'd have rampart/fealty(lolmeteor) saved up anyway

    Answer: We strongly believe people will come to understand Puppetmasters. Until then, we’ll need Puppetmasters to spread the word about the good points of their job or be proactive about making their own parties. Maybe you could try making a lively party with Beastmasters, Dragoons, and Summoners?

    Ugh, they are so off with that Conflict stuff. At least with Brenner. No one does Brenner ever and the LS ranking system is blank on every server as far as I know. Some Japanese do love their cap 60, but the grand majority of Americans and Europe are not interested in the least. To say it was a success would be pushing it.

    EDIT: Most newer players I encounter these days are not even aware PvP is in this game.

    I could fix both Brenners and Ballista in 30sec.

    Brenner: Winner team receive an alexandrite pouch (~15)
    Ballista: Winner team receive dynamis currency (~5)

    SquareEnix is retarded when it come to implementing new event. It's not that hard to give a reward to make everything worthwhile.

    The only bad thing about this is that you would have a few afk leech, but I'm sure there is simple method to get around this issue.

    i'm sad to see they've ultimately shunned their cop missions bcs. i thought those were the most challenging/fun.

    that's true, but it would be cool if they could think of a way to make future wotg missions actually challenging and maybe have something that set players a part? i know it's hard to make anything challenging at this point, since we can learn and master mobs A.I. in a matter of hours, but maybe they could find a way to make the missions so tricky (not gimmicky) that when they eventually release northlands, not just anyone can walk up there (kinda like how sea was when it was released).

    But they have to think of lower level people too, when they design the missions.. Use the level cap system similar to assault perhaps?

    No one liked Mumor!? That Summerfest was by far the most interesting and cool seasonal event they've had in a loooooong time and people complained? I'm filled with sadness as they basically said they'll revert back to fish scooping, egg trading and candy trading forever....

    I try to beat those bc solo, or with 2 peope. It might be an artificial challenge, but it's pretty fun this way.

    I admit it's lacking something really hard that could set player apart like promyvion or sea, but I don't think it's possible now. We know the gameplay and mechanics far too well, and most of us have access to a ton of jobs. I can't imagine a single gameplay mechanics that could set players apart

    Lol, seriously, it was obvious they'd get backlash for that event, because it was actually fun and different.

    Nice interview though, I do miss CoP difficulty styled missions, but the quality of CS has risen greatly over the years..but in the end we can fall back on:

    Why would people like to do something other than complain just about everything SE does?
    Which is why the missions since ToAU were easier.

    Till everyone realize complaining rarely brings any good.
