I'm looking for a linux distro that comes with absolutely nothing except .deb package manager a shell and a kernel or just shell and kernel. I want to compile gnome with nothing but gnome and have pretty much a blank install of linux that I can customize to my liking. I have been looking for a while now tried many distros but when it comes to ripping software out of the OS it gives me to many dependancies. I know this seems stupid but it would be nice.
