Downloadable content is retarded either way. Most of the time, it's bonus stuff we used to get for free that is cut off the game, and sold later.

I would rather buy a complete expansion for 20$, then 10 half assed DLC that give me 5 min worth of content.

yeah I don't really get the DLC hype. freebies are neat, and full-blown quests/campaigns/levels for a reasonable price aren't too bad... but more like episodic content, or stuff like they've done with NWN complete story stuff. paying for goddam outfits or an extra monster or a gun is just fucking lame, but god the profit margin has to be huuuuuuuuuuuge.

you could have a fairly junior modeler and texturer crank out that horse armor in less than a day and sell it for a dollar.

Well i just dled the demo to give it a go and the game looks really good but doesnt play that well. The camera was horrible and I fell one foot off a wall and died :l, the new combat as well is really sluggish.

That sucks... TR games should take a page from Uncharted and make Laura jump around like a monkey... stupid platforming where you die cause u were .5 millimeter off the jump is a thing of the past!

Honestly, I felt terrible after killing those tigers, even though they were the ones that attacked you out of the blue...

The climbing and exploring did feel really fun, and I was throttled by how gorgeous the environments were at the start, that opening scene was just beautiful. I do have to agree, though, the combat is just absolutely terrible. It alone kills any interest I would've had in the game.
