Thing is a joke to t2t. 2 PLD/NIN, we don't tank backwards, just freaken turn or cursna your tank. We only put 2 other melee on him, to reduce TP spam and the rest BLMs. The summoning move is every 90s or w/e like bb said, Kaylia would call out when it was happening on the dot and it was easily stunned. Charm is the only sucky part. If things went badly and we needed to regroup we simply kited it for a bit until we were good. Sure, doom+charm suck and can make things iffy but no way to avoid those, can kite but I never saw a need to kite unless both tanks got charmed or something.

It sounds like some people in this topic still don't know you can stun his summoning.

He starts to resist /DRK stunning after about ten Stuns, and BLM Stuns not long after. We usually don't have enough manpower out there to kill it before it would start to resist anyway, so I just Stun my ass off on NIN/DRK and just live with the summons when a bash isn't up to stun him. They're a joke on NIN. If fresh shadows are up, I blink all of them. If not, I take like 150-300 damage total.

The smning was never an issue. The issue was Helivoid -> Nossferatu Kiss SPAM at last 20% (He used these 2 moves exclusively after 20% for us on the last 3 fights). That makes it very challenging when you brought primarily close range melees to kill it. However we wont be doing that anymore

Pretty sure we used SMNs and maybe BLMs as our main sources of damage for Nosferatu, with perhaps one SAM running in and out. Definitely the way to go if those TP moves are causing you problems.

sure didn't. but why look for a fix for something when it's not a problem? Obviously will stun now that we know for conveniances sake, but him summoning is the easiest part to handle of this fight.

Regular summons can be a problem though. Depending on TP moves used, Nos likes to TP right after his pets on the same target, usually decolliation(sp) or Blood Rake; and either can OS ya if you're not careful.

When we first attempt Nos, ZNMs were still new so we had TONs of people; and he ass-raped the ally, which led us to believe straight-tanking was suicide. We kited for a few pops, then went back to straight tanking and he's really very easy until after he uses AF, is when he'll start using charm breath and spamming Kiss to stay alive.

we havn't had any troubles with the regular summons, it's rare a melee dies from them or the TP move after. As i said, if the mages are on the ball you've got full hp within seconds of the smn going off, before the tp move hits. Same should apply to anyone fighting him really.

We seem to have had a totally different experience with this guy than some people here, we've never had it spam any tp moves compulsively, or wipe an alliance with AF or anything like that. Easy street all the way so far.

    Avoid at all costs. =(

I wouldn't recommend zoning and nuking... It's really tedious and took a long time. Then straight tanking led to a lot of shit... not to mention his mass amount of drain moves in which he can get loads of hp back from. DRK did a lot of damage with SE/LR but it usually ended up with a pissed off Nosferatu and a dead DRK. (He was using Ground Strike and Spinning Slash.)

So this leads us back to my previous comment. Avoid at all costs.

Funny thing about zone-nuking is that if you zone during the summoning it will 'hold' untill it has a new target then immedialy pop the pets and they attack.
I did this once (yay for enki feet on first attempt!) and we tried tanking but opted for zone-nuke. The blms seemed to enjoy it near the end some were trying to pull off two nukes before zoning. (blms were all solo) then when it got to like 5% I hit it with Dia III (2:30 duration) zoned; reformed alliance; zoned in and had someone outside alliance rezone it whereby we oblitereated its face off with a massive timed nukes.

    !

2 PLD/NIN at the zone. Trick attack hate unto PLD's. Nice thing to note is aura steal will dispel his dread spikes (which can be annoying and other dispels don't seem to work.)

Okay, I'm going to reveal a secret to everyone. My old ZNM LS had this killer strategy for him, took like 30 minutes per kill. Get your alliance together, melee rapes him, sub /NIN and have melee build up TP on nearby mobs. SAM are gods at this since they can just meditate. BLU/THF is excellent too with zephyr mantle and cannonball.

Have everyone DISBAND from parties, and have people drag Nosferatu to the zone and zone it. Have mages put a DoT on him, and zone. Keep him constantly DoTed, and a melee claims him, WSs, then zones. Next guy goes up WS, zone. Shadows will absorb whatever attacks that are made against you, make sure you don't hit him when he does his astral flow/summon thing, or you'll eat dirt. Get him down to 10% or so, get everyone in an alliance while keeping DoTs on him to make sure he doesn't regen. Once everyone is ready, you wail on him, and he's down and out in a couple seconds, he drops his items, and you're done.

Worked every time for ZeniHunters in Pandemonium. He charms no one, no one gets doomed, etc. Nukes work too, just takes a bit longer to cast them on him, but once you cast, you zone it and someone else takes a stab at him. Whoever just used their TP, you zone back in, and start building up for another WS.

We've only done this guy once. We started out zone nuking. After a few blm deaths we decided to straight tank. Nin/war 2brds march x2 mambo x2 worked well. Just keep the nin's hp up incase he catches a nasty smn. I'm pretty sure the nin used acc/eva gear most the time. A quick blink into dmg reduction gear would be recommended to help survive the smns depending on the nins max hp.

The one time I killed, we brought 2 RNG's and some support (RDM's and WHM's, and I think a BLM for more damage.) The RNG's were the 'tanks', as we kited it around. FIght lasted a bit, but was easy enough and actually kinda fun.

We typically kite with SMN & RNG as DD; have the odd BLM or SAM as well. Our fights are usually ~20 mins
