How much has the difficulty increased? When my brother was playing the beta some months ago, he was able to solo level appropriate 4 man dungeons with an npc companion, which seemed pretty retarded.

The heroic missions on the starter planet you can probably still solo with your companion. I've managed to solo the Tython heroic with little trouble just using my droid companion but that heroic is designed for 2+. The Heroic 4's you're not going to have any chance of soloing and a large number of the 2+'s as well.

Well the starter planet ones i think only had strong mobs in them, at least the ones on korriban and one of them had an elite mob at the end. If you wait to do those until after you have your companion then yeah you'll probably be able to easily do it since you'll be a couple levels over it as well.

I only did one heroic 4 last weekend and there were boss level mobs pathing around inside the quest area, and each group around the objectives were groups of elites and sometimes a boss mob. I could see a stealthy class maybe being able to solo that one with clever use of companion suicide to get around, but they'd have to be good at it and they'd probably die a few times. Hard to guess how these quests hold up in this new build, i'm anxious to find out.

If it wasn't posted yet - the accounts invited to upcoming stress weekend had the link for game client appear on their accounts, so you can get to downloading it already.

Also just thought I'd mention that if you played last weekend (11-11-11) then you only need to patch the client, not re-download the whole thing again.

I thought I read somewhere that it was a new build so they recommended to delete the old client and reinstall to save disk space?
Not sure though...

This weekend, but it's going to be a stress test. They're letting in a ton of people to check how their servers will manage under the load.

Yeah, in the FAQ they did say that, but it was only for previous weekends.

Yes. The game client has changed substantially since earlier Game Testing phases, and you'll need to re-download it for the upcoming Testing Weekend. If you have been invited to the 11-13th of November Beta Testing Weekend, you will only need to patch the game client for the upcoming Beta Testing Weekend.

FYI for weekend testers... depending on when you accepted the invite, you will either be able to log in at 10am friday or saturday. Posted by a Mod on the beta forums.

I'm honestly not even expecting to be able to play at all during this weekend phase, mainly because stress test phases tend to be completely shitty stability wise, hence "stress test".

Honestly Ezek, I only had trouble playing on friday night... and even that was not bad >.> I played perfectly fine all day saturday and sunday... so I don't know what the hell some people are saying.
