I'm rolling Operative. Trust me. I know this.
I feel like the BG guild is going to be 50 IA/Operatives and 1 Powertech
What are you gonna do for you're second, third, an even forth character's cause you know that bioware considers re-rolling to experience other class story lines as a large part of the endgame or more accurately 1/4th of the endgame... Operations, Redoing flash points in lv50 hard mode, PvP, and re-rolling.
/sigh can't wait till they put out the first expansion so depressing when I really think about it that the only real "new" haven't done before getting to 50 endgame content will be the 2 operations while they are fun doing just the 2 of them over an over it gonna get boring quick just like kirin did but hey we did him over an over and over for years so we can stick it out till they add more.
Yeah its why I plan on leveling all 8 AC's to 50 over the first few months hopefully by then they will at least add a few more operations and maybe give us some info on the expansion they are already working on.
Though considering I've sadly already done nearly all the current content(story's, quests, flashpoints, pvp, space combat, etc.)multiple times over the past few months ill be mostly spacing threw the cut scenes and playing the class to have fun with the different play mechanics which I do admit are mostly all very fun to play.
Ok.
I'm gonna start the BG Empire side guild. Whoever wants in just keep your eyes on this thread once the game goes live. Send me a PM if you want to, doesn't matter.
I plan on powering to 50 within 3-4 days on my Vanguard and then possibly leveling a Jedi Sentinel so I have the option of swapping between tank/dps. All in all, I really liked the Jedi Knight storyline when I played it up to the late 30s during the November weekend beta tests. I had just gotten Doc when the test shut down, sadface.
Trooper story was quite a surprise to me, but when you look back you think 'durr of course all that shit happened' when you aren't blinded by 'light side effect'. I can't wait to see how it goes, I only made it to the first heroic area in coruscant too. I'm kinda hopingthis game lasts me a while, I know I'll be pretty casual on playtime, and I'm pretty sure I'll want to see all the stories once I get going on them. I wonder if they went so far as to make some aspects only available if you made X light/dark choices (or not even point count but a hidden tracker on questions that have no value). Kinda doubt it, but that could potentially make for at least 16 plays to see the good/bad exclusives for each class. I'm sure the other big hitters of 2012Q1+2 will slow me down too. Hope it all goes as good as naive, sugar-coated dreams say it will lol.
For the people that have uninstalled and reinstalled in the last day or 2, how big is your swtor folder?
Random: I did not uninstall/re-install, just patched after the Nov25th beta and mine is 18.5 GB. So I wouldn't worry too much.
I would love a group to play with at launch, Republic side I think to start, game will be a lot more fun with some mature veteran players. PM me with any info if you want to, or when servers go live, I'm down for anything.
i'm in love with Bioware a little more

Thank god, will make those hundreds of kids trying to use xxxDarthSidiousxxx crap names be non seeing
The system has been in place for months and you can get around it. Testing to see what was usable I was able to make a lot of canon/EU canon named characters which the system was originally meant to prevent all you need to do is add 1 strategically placed apostrophe somewhere it doesn't look out of place and make you're name look dumb and you can get in tones of names that the system normally prevents.
A lot of those Emo kids are not smart enough for that though...
