We won't be getting a server list before tomorrow morning, but all the servers have the same name as they did in beta. No idea of those will still be the same type of server they were in beta.

So for everybody here who isn't in a guild already, I figured we should probably pick somewhere to go if we want to do that.

BG Sith guild is going PvP all the way. If the servers are the same then I'll just say we are going to the same beta server that I was on.

Why not go to Darth Malak if you want a heavy PvP server? A lot of hardcore PvP veterans from WoW/RIFT etc are all apparently gathering there and it was always the highest population server during the beta.

Hmmm... pretty sure the guild I joined through the swtor.com page was designated as PvE, but we have been assigned to Juyo which appears to be PvP. Has anyone else heard of this happening?

edit: Sounds like multiple servers are a different type than what they were in beta... I wouldn't say that image is accurate anymore.

Not giving us an official server list before launch is pretty fucking annoying. I understand they want to spread people out, but at least give us a day in advance to coordinate with our guilds.

The whole guild deployment program was supposed to be the answer to that. They allowed us to make our guilds and choose what server type we want to go on, then they distribute them so we don't get everybody joining the server with the coolest name. Its not their fault if people didn't jump on that program.

True, but they didn't have it set up for people that wanted to roll on an RP-PvP server. They said those people would have to manually create their guild on their own.
