i'm stuck at work but i got the email this morning, i prepaid day 1 (july 21 was it?), for what that's worth. i also knew nothing about this game when i prepaid it besides seeing people call it "wow in star wars" - i got it because a good amount of my IRC channel & 2 rl buddies were getting it.

we are on "Davik's Estate", guild name Liquidswords, if anyone cares enough to look for a sort-of-BG-related-group.

i never got further than the mid 20s (about 5 times) in WoW, i played the shit out of ffxi until around 2009, and besides that my MMO experience is asheron's call which i can't even remember due to alcoholism and lots of betas (ffxiv included). so i'm going in a bit clueless and hoping to have fun maxing out at least 1 character for now.

i'm just going to go to Ilum for my world pvp cravings, that place is freaking huge. Theres plenty of open space there to roll around with people killing other people.

So I went got half way to level 9 at work today, sith/warrior. I am an evil bitch in this story line. I wish I knew about the other classes, just picked warrior because it seemed like it would just be easy to learn on. My only mmo experience is FFXI. So far its been fun, only have done solo stuff though. What is the best sources for information? The official forums?
