With a 7 day headstart? Easily. In fact, you'll most likely be seeing 50s within the next two days for people that are skipping the cutscenes.

That's all fine and good for them. My friends and I are in absolutely no rush. Grind to 50 repeatedly in the span of a couple days, get burnt out, quit game? Hurrah.

Been there, done that, took me two full years to "burn out" on Aion...and that was mainly because of NCwest's mismanagement of the game, not the game itself. Thinking that you'll ditch a game quickly because you rush to cap is a bit silly imo.

Indeed. I've always rush leveled in all of the MMOs I've played for years. Including but not limited to EQ, FFXI, WoW, and now SWTOR.

^That. I didn't much care for the story in WoW and Rift, so I got to 80/50 as fast as I could. SWTOR however, I'm going to take my sweet ass time. Not like I have a choice anyway, I have a full-time job with overtime (in particular this Friday night and half of Saturday, so there goes half of my weekend playing, haha)

Started playing around 11, got a Sith Sorcerer to 12 before deciding it was too single-skill spammy for me. Took a break until about 6ish and started playing a Jedi Knight. Went Jedi Guardian at 10 and now i'm level 15. The levelling pace is definitely slower in this game.

Pace is slower because you dont know the best routes by heart like you do in a game like WoW because everything is new.

I heard the Bounty Hunter story was really good.. So I plan on burning through the ranks as my group's tank on Jedi Shadow, and then play BH on the side for the story.. Really enjoyed the stories on KOTOR1 and 2, so I'm sure I'd want to enjoy that aspect in this game too..

Grind to 50 in a couple of days, camp starter areas for the rest of the population as they filter in with no real risk of retaliation.

Are heroics leveled? Or can I just go back to the starting planet and rape them to get titles?

AFAIK, heroics are for level 50s. I believe TORHead has a standard version of the boss, and a level 50 version of the boss in the database to represent the two different versions.

As far as open world PVP goes, it depends on which type of server you play on. PVE, like stated before only select areas. PVP, it starts around 20 I believe, depending on how fast you burn through your class quests.

Edit: Yep, PVP starts on your 4th planet, ~20.
