not trolling, i understand that you're upset because you lost the date further, but really you shouldn't have sent the email and just waited like everyone else anyways. they're getting flooded and there is no chance in hell they're going to read every email. Prolly just got sorted into all the people with issues with preorder dates and they just reset them to fix them.

A little of both.

I had literally no idea you had to input a code when I preordered (After the announcement at ComicCon)
I actually registered it a few weeks ago after randomly talking to someone about it in beta.

So I immediately contacted them and got a reply saying, "Send us a screenie of your transaction for your preorder and we'll swap the date in"

They did not do that.

got ya, i see the problem, but i still feel you should have just accepted it and moved on with a slightly later date. the forums are spewing over with tons of people with situations just like that feeling entitled and in the end it should just boil down to when you entered it, and they shouldnt be changing dates at all. sucks that they did tell you they would and then screwed it up. still worth playing in a few days though, just wait it out.

As much as it sucks to mess up in the end its really not going to matter much, you'll only be a few days behind everybody else and in a month when everybody is 50 its not going to matter at all.

I still don't see how they managed to not link your account on SWTOR with your account on Origin (Where I preordered the digital download). Seems to me it would have been simpler to just add another button after you preordered saying "Here, press this button to link your preorder to your account" or just automate it.


Whatever. I'll be in for a day at most. I'll probably just leave it and head out for this business trip and do all my registration stuff sometime in January.

Does everyone who hasn't gotten in yet get the same message when they try to log in? The "this environment is unavailable" message? I want to make sure my install isn't fucked or something and I just don't have access yet.
