If you get disconnected while in a server que, you can retain your spot as long as you "log back in within a reasonable amount of time"

Yeah, you can also skip the queue entirely if you get disconnected spontaneously after getting in (though this only works once every few hours IME).

Had to turn off nameplates and drop everything to lowest settings because my computer couldn't handle 300 people in the same spot at a time.

on a note, since I haven't mentioned. If people are into pvp, specifically world pvp, feel free to join us on The Crucible Pit, Light Side. Just as a note, Ruin is a zerg guild, I think we are up to 4 guilds atm (Ruin, Ruin Gaming, Rhuin, Ruinous) because of member caps. Atm there's no difference because everyone is leveling, but eventually they get organized into like the high end pvping and leveling/alt guilds. Anyone can join so there will be "bads" but the general rule is when we go to an event, you get on vent, shut the fuck up and listen to the officers/leader (Archaos). They have an insane vent so there's usually like 300+ people in there. Basically when it comes down to it, if you can listen and follow directions, then you're fine.

You do have to deal with some flack being in the guild. I mean there's usually like 2000+ people, and of course when some don't know how to play in battlegrounds you get people going off on "RUIN SUCKS". But Archaos has been doing this a long time, and when it comes to the actual events he knows what he's fucking doing. In Warhammer we were in the enemy's city every single night to the point they gave up trying to stop us. In WoW when Arch came back they started controlling Tol Barad consistently so horde never got it.

There is also a zerg guild that's formed on the dark side to try to "beat" us, so things should get fun/interesting once more people are 50.


We will also do pve stuff of course but that isn't the main focus but with 2000+ members it makes it a lot easier to find people to do shit.

wooo at waiting an hour in queue on their WEBSITE just to added my credit card that I just got in the mail. I know they warned me, but they should have let me put the credit card info in there sometime in the 30 FREE days I have.

I got in from the queue but the system is all fucked up (for me at least). I put in the code and hit continue only to have it just go back to the main page. Been doing it for like an hour now to see if it'll work eventually. ;_;

I blame my husband as he set this shit up so I didn't know there was a step he didn't do! >: (

Sorry for the spamming but after a nightmare of two+ hours I wanted to give a bit of advice for anyone else who hasn't done their code/cc yet.

When I did mine it took forever 'cause randomly (and very often -.-; ) when I hit the continue button in a step it would just default back to the main page and I would have to start all over (including retyping in the CC info....................). Eventually I got my receipt that everything was done BUT it still wouldn't let me play and the "five steps" page thought I still had to put it in. Yet, when I put it in it claimed "that purchase was already made".

At first I figured it was just lag and the fact the page was overloaded or something because of everyone doing it so I was pretty patient. But after an hour it did seem like it just was stuck. So I thought maybe it was a browser issue, and tried again in Chrome (I was using Firefox).

Sure enough chrome went super fast without ever glitching back to the main page. I re-registered the CC got the receipt and it took that as being completed and now I can play. XD

I then went on my husband's computer and used Chrome to sign him up and had no issues there either. I might be the only person who experienced this issue, but I figured I'd throw this out there just in case. So ya if you use firefox and it's glitching, try a different browser.

Now I regret rolling on a PvE server, stuff like this is awesome when it happens in the open world (as rare as that may be).

I want to roll a BH alt because people say their storyline is one of the best. Question about merc and PT, do they wear the same armor? The mandalorian BH armor or is that only PT?

You get the same armor as you level up, not sure if there's class unique gear.

But really, the BH story is kind of blah so far. I'm at 22 @ Nar Shardaa and its kind of lackluster compared to the trooper, which actually had some depth to it.

I couldn't tell ya, I'm using orange armor and just replacing mods. As far as the story goes, I don't personally think it has as good of a hook as some of the other stories i've tried have (Have tried all so far except Sith Warrior and Imperial Agent). I personally have found the Trooper to my favorite so far. Even though BH is my main i'll be rolling a trooper for that alone.

Yeah but i'm sure the communities will be different. Who knows, maybe the fact thats its the ONLY place to get world pvp on those servers will attract them there more.

What worlds are open PvP on PvE servers? Is flagging involved? I havent looked into PvP at all but the wife is not a fan so depending on how things go I might have to um.. prepare her.

That's probably Outlaw's den. Its an open world pvp where you can kill anyone not in your own guild. Including empire players

I had this exact problem, but it eventually worked for me in Firefox when I tried it today. I think the issue might have been that there was a grace period that ended on December 22. During the grace period, it was still possible to play the game without entering any payment details. When I tried to complete the subscription process before the grace period ended, every time I got to the last step on the "five steps" page, it would say "you have already set up a payment" or something like that. You are the only other person I know of who experienced the issue. I thought it was just me, lol. It works now though.

Sith Inq story is pretty sweet so far, up to Taris. It involves murder, body swapping, and ghosts.
