I can't think of anything that is just brand new with how diverse WOW raiding content is. I figured new ideas were pretty much done with and painting old mechanics a different color was the only real choice.

EDIT: Also I got an ability I can only use with a double lightsaber. Any idea where I can pick one up around level 11?

No biggie, until it happened yet again yesterday (gonna submit a bug report today). I make pretty decent money off of purple barrels but I'm afraid not to do it if I'm going to have to keep reporting it just to get shit to reappear.

I'm pretty sure it was addressed in this patch that just went live. I'd have to dig through the notes for the exact wording, but I'm relatively sure I saw something along those lines.

Also, yeah, I bought in on this the other day. Had a buddy that kept badgering me about giving it a shot, so I guess now I'm playing.

I'm actually not surprised someone would miss that. When I went to Juggernaut, I was totally unaware that said bag had been added to my inventory, because it wasn't listed in the rewards (as far as I can recall).

Sadly, I don't think so. Only ah mention was this:

Mine weren't expired yet, they just disappeared. After the bug response they went back on the sell list and some sold within the first 6 hours of them being put back on.

For Bounty Hunter at least, it mentions in the dialogue that you'll get some new equipment depending on what class you choose.

Oh yeah, not arguing that. They definitely said that in the Sith Warrior line too, but I was more referring to the fact that it's never made glaringly apparent that you've been handed the bag, or at least I don't recall it having been.

I did the thing at like, 2am though so it's entirely possible I just missed it in the rewards listing somehow.

Not just you. Its a big issues and of course nothing has been said about it.

You should be able to cure cross faction players IF you're aligned to that side of Light Side/ Dark Side. Like my BH curing random Republic people on Hoth (which btw has some of the coolest music in game)
