Yeah that fight took me a couple tries as heal spec, didn't think it was that bad though.

Torhead has this enhancement but can't find it on knotor.com. I did find the 'A' assortment listed on darthhater.com and one npc trainer specified for one the variations, but my artificer is only 12 so I can't get to Quesh just yet. Has anyone seen these 'A' enhancements? I know I got some cybertech schematics that have an 'A', but those came from the typical craft trainers.

What level did you do it at? I have a feeling I tried it too early XD It may just be me though

Depends what you like. A friend started as a Knight but after partying with a Shadow, restarted as a Consular. If you like being wise,helpful and scholarly (you do get to kick butt too) you'll probably enjoy Sage. I like the class a lot but the story is a bit slow in Ch 1. From all reports it gets amazing in Ch 2. (Which is where we just got to). I think Sage's early stuff depends very much on the type of role you like to play. Sages get to be Jedi Masters far earlier than Knights too because the Knight story arc finishes later.

I have a second character (smuggler) and I'm finding that early story line a little easier to get into but I love playing Healer classes and Sage just specs really well for that.

True dat. We have some amazing players at 50 who live in the arena fights with absolutely sick gear and PVP titles. I'm 34 but have bought my level 40 armour already as I have tons of points. I'm surprised I enjoy the team games as much as I do honestly.

Does anyone know how to obtain a purple lightsaber crystal, republic side? I'm only level 15 right now but I kind of want to change my boring green color. does anyone know any cheap/easy ways to find new colors?

Purple for Republic side is kinda hard to get. It's an artificing schematic that drops from level 50 world bosses, and the main ingredient involves a rather convoluted romp around the Galaxy.

those are all of the super common ones (+ red). Other colors exist though if you know where to find them.

Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Teal, Light Blue, Blue Black, Magenta, and supposedly white.

I'm enjoying it as a welcome change from XI. XI really has me bummed out. I don't know how long SWTOR will hold my interest, I think that very much depends on what they release next. I don't give a crap about different animations for abilities for different races honestly. I suspect gear will change considerably over time but I'm fine with what's there right now. I am 34 so haven't hit endgame. I took one character to 20, then a friend and I rerolled on a quieter server and he changed class. We've taken those to 34 over the vacation. So we have a reasonable amount of content left to do but there are a lot of people around the level 20 mark who will take a while to hit 50 so I don't envisage a HUGE update til easter honestly. They are fixing things regularly. Having been in the XIV alpha, then beta and then at release, I'd say they're doing it waaaay faster than that.

I'm not expecting a huge endgame yet and I'm not having random dc's. Occasionally I am getting slow loading times. The AH is simple to use but not many people are using it yet. Predominantly because you don't *need* to if you want to play at a decent but not exceptional level. I like the gear progression and upgrades (never played WoW so don't know how it compares) because you have choice and control over it to an extent. I don't think I'm that bothered about the gear because in all honesty it feels like XI did before you hit AF levels. But you're able to customise and mix and match more.

We rolled on a PvE server because I'm not a huge PVP fan. I like them but can see the PvP games getting old and I'm sure they'll bring in more. I enjoy Hutt Ball and the turret PvP a lot right now and the daily quest to net you 16k xp is a nice bonus. I don't live in it 24/7 else I think I'd get bored. It just feels like the game is in its infancy. Whether it grows up well, we'll have to see.

I like that you get your first movement speed buff at 14/15. I don't like that so far I haven't found a way to avoid mobs when I merely wanna travel from A to B. You can be knocked off your speeder bike, which whilst fair is a bit irritating. I duo with a Shadow and he can stealth around all over but as a Sage I have zero options to avoid combat. However it is possible to lose hate fairly easily but there are times when it's wearing. Kinda depends where you are.

I'm not good with jumping >.>

SWTOR is fun right now and that's fine. Whether it will survive will really depend on what they do in the spring I think. I don't need much from SWTOR right now, so I think I'm enjoying it more than some.

Unfortunately, I don't believe you can get a purple crystal on the republic side (currently). The closest thing you can get is magenta, but that's more hot pink than anything else. For lightsiders/republic, you have access to: blue, green, yellow, orange, cyan, and black-blue.

And yeah, I'm still having fun with this game, but there's nothing wrong with talking about some of the game's shortcomings in the hopes that they'll be fixed.

Need 4 more Purples and I'll be full purps. Mostly PVP stuff at this point but have 2-3 pieces of PVE stuff as well.

The non-Rakata/Columi/Tionese purple stuff is mediocre compared to the purple mods you get from lv 50 heroics.
