Don't think so. They have an option to not display Sith corruption though (just as there's an option to not display headgear).

I am not sure about the light side, but I don't think so. There is a toggle for "Sith Corruption", so you can look normal or all corrupted.

Sith Corruption makes your eyes go yellow > red and you get all spider vein in the face and look like you have STD in the mouth and eyes(turned that shit off).

i wouldn't mind the red eyes because lets face it, that's pretty cool but the throbbing black veins just looks like your a stem junkie, and the tan bit was just a joke a friend told me if your "super nice jedi man" you have a healthy glow to your character but not sure how truthful he was been

When I see people who picked Juggernaut and Powertech, I automatically think tank. Are those classes primarily tanks end game or are their DPS specs able to keep up with other classes who only have DPS specs?

Those classes DPS specs, at least Powertechs are pretty awesome.

I view them mainly as tanks. They all have DPS specs but I certainly wouldn't bring, say, a Guardian over a Sentinel for hard mode/nightmare mode OPs because:

1. DPS difference. We don't know exactly how big of a difference it is without combat logs, but from what I've tested (Infernal Council in EV - have two classes pick the same mob type and have them go at it) there's a pretty noticeable difference.

2. No raid wide benefit abilities (Inspiration/Bloodthirst)

3. Being melee in a game where the developers seem to have a fetish for making melee suffer in PvE. See: every single HM+ fight, especially Soa in EV. There's a good reason why many HM/Nightmare Operations guilds are stacking ranged DPS entirely or bringing just that one token Marauder/Sentinel for Bloodthirst/Inspiration during a critical burn phase.

Powertech/Vanguards, on the other hand, I have no real experience with when it comes to DPS specs. Keep in mind that this is all coming from a PvE perspective; I have no idea how good or bad DPS specced Juggernauts/Powertechs are in Warzones.

I don't think Powertech/Vanguard classes are comparable to their counterpart. The damage difference in PvE situations are overwhelming based on a Merc/Commando's damage output to heat/cell management (if you're not retarded).

Guardian/Juggs on the other hand is comparable on longer fights (more sustained damage with a pretty straightforward rotation). Spartacus classes (from what I can see) are really good at burst management, but they have to slow down a bit to build focus. (This is all from what someone was telling me about both classes in a EV run)

Is it possible to get a purple recipe from something that started out green? Like for instance right now I am trying to get a purple body crafted for myself (fuck you false emperor and not dropping me one :O). There is no blue stat bodies from armormech, so I reverse engineered a green to get a blue. I was told you could get a purple then from that blue, but I think I've reverse engineered about 40 bodies by now and I haven't gotten shit. I'm beginning to believe I was lied to.

Specifically the one I'm trying get a purple from is Critical Powered Biorestorative Body Armor.

I was doing one similar and never got it. Ended up getting PVP chest piece and said fuck it.

You can, but it's my experience that the higher level the craft, the worse the RNG is for a purple schematic. I settled for a level 50 moddable with full purple mods.

Green (armor at least) can branch out into three different blue trees: defense (redoubt), critical, or power (overkill). Then the blue can branch out into five different purple schematics: absorb/shield, alacrity, presence, accuracy, or surge. Additionally, the base stats bump up with the increased schematic.

Rolled a gunslinger alt as a break from valor grinding (rank 55 qq ) class is silly. I'm pulling the same (if not better) wz stats as semi-geared 50's. I'm shocked there arent any qq threads about sniper/gs, the burst is insane.
